Hello there! I'm new to the forum community, but have been coming on-and-off to this site for more than a few years now. I mainly created an account so I could comment on the Saimoe 2007 thread, but I might dive into a few others.

A little about me:
My name is Nick; I'm a 22 year old college student (currently on hiatus) from BC, Canada, who aspires to one day become a teacher (preferably an overseas one at that). Some of my favourite animes include The Twelve Kingdoms, Elfen Lied, Scrapped Princess, Haibane Renmei, Chrono Crusade, Rurouni Kenshin, and Azumanga Daioh. I'm 29, seems like an old sempai so that's nice to be called "junior" on a forum... i'm french but live in Holland, learn japanese, and i´ve been watching anime for what seems all my life (starting with astroboy, OMG that's sooo old).

Recently i´m into Claymore, Seirei no Moribito, Heroic Age (obviously great fan of it!), just finished xxx-holic, Code Geass, Death Note and Fate Stay Night.

Ah, excellent. Well, I am in the middle of an Arts degree, with minors in History and English. If I ever get my act together (and another student loan, HAHA) and finish it, then my current plan is to try and get into teaching English as a second language overseas. If not, then at least I still have an Arts degree to do something with; I might try to go for my BEd if I decide to teach grade school here.

In any case, the main thing for me right now is clearing up some financial troubles I've gotten myself into. I'm aiming to return to Malaspina University-College (in Nanaimo, BC) in September, 2007.
