Hmm, judging by the spoilers, I'm both anticipating and dreading the next volume, because they would have to do something monumentally horrifying AND stupid for Leon to go ballistic and burn the kingdom down.

Back when it was just a game or they weren't reincarnated, the original Leon and Marie were literally mobs who did nothing important and so they didn't factor in at all. Somehow, the evil Saint possessing Livia co-opted Luxion, probably with the knowledge that her plan was going to kill a crapton of new humans, and got him to work along side her.

So the original timeline goes roughly: Livia's story (over the course of 3 years) then Noelle's Story and then the story of the Principality's Return due to the main antagonists' sister in the immediate time frame.

In the current canon, due to all the reincarnates, every single plot point got drastically sped up:

Marie > takes Olivia's place on harem route. Wouldn't really cause an issue until the final boss, whereupon the lack of Olivia's empathetic voice and the Royal Ship's reading she has little affection for the five equals them getting wiped out. So bad end without Luxion to either kill all opposition or Olivia to make everyone calm down, though honestly this kingdom is bad enough that I'd consider it bittersweet at best.

Leon > interferes with canon Angie ending of getting banished and gets the five disowned, creating huge power gap that encourages premature invasion. Luxion basically picks up the slack so he can brute force his way through the circumstances, though the question of how Olivia was supposed to do so if he took the P2W items ahead of time begs to question..

Lelia > decides Noelle should go with the so called true ending and pushes her on the Yandere route while chasing away all the others due to confirmation bias. Then took the safe tile for herself. Currently getting another P2W robot to another guy with an inflated ego that will end poorly, because she didn't learn the first time.


So the current timeline is a mess due to everyone messing around, but there's also a better division of power since they avoid the worse case scenario.

Marie > Doesn't try to manipulate the love interests into killing off one another's power base and so the kingdom is stronger than it would be in the main timeline, plus she has knowledge of all games.

Leon > He got Luxion to listen to him so it won't go on a murderous rampage and is largely a force of good due to being the protagonist. Anything that can be solved with violence or money is within his power.

Lelia > ...I got nothing. Maybe Volume 8?

In the Marie Side Story, Leon and Marie reincarnate but keep their heads down as they try to make sure the world doesn't implode, so the events of Livia's story are largely the same except them being loud stops Angie from challenging Olivia that day and keeps her around a little longer, but they're dealing with the issue of the world-ending threats that happen later and mitigating some of the damage being done by the Saint.

After Louise's case the six great nobles decided to not charge Leon with any crime, it seems they believed so easily Leon's story of the thing asking for a sacrifice being a parasyte clinging to the sacred tree partly thanks to already existing a precedent of someone trying something similar, the Respinas family, now Leon is convinced that not everything happened as the otome game said, he's prepared for the chance of the Respinas house maybe deserving its fate and for Lelia to maybe become his enemy when he discovers the thruth, Lelia right now isn't thinking well of Leon getting along with the Rault house rather than with her when they're the villains and the ones who destroyed her family but she still doesn't see him as an enemy, at the same time Luxion decides too that Ideal isn't someone it will ever get along with.

Alberk decided to desinherit Serge because he thinks now that being a part of his family is making him too unhappy, so it may be better for both the family and for Serge to let him go.

About the future enemies, Serge is plotting in secret of everyone Leon's assassinatiom, for that sake he asked for the help of the Rachel Holy kingdom, Ideal is helping too, later that night Luxion meets alone with Ideal for asking for explanations about the parts of its action that Luxion considers unnatural, Ideal just gives excuses and Luxion decides to leave at that for the time after saying that there won't be next time, Before its leave Ideal asks Luxion if it won't hands with him and if it believes that the current world is in its right form. Volume ends.

So, while the 1st "Otome Game" had a happy ending in the game plot, in actuality that "Happy End" was just the beginning of the "True Bad End".

But i wonder why Livia saw that vision of the alternate timeline? (in which Leon stayed as a real "Mob/NPC" character, and Livia fulfilled her role as the real protagonist).
Also, what exactly is that parasite thing, is there any clue about it in the Web Novel?
Also, is Ideal infected by that parasite thing? (because of how he is trying to get Leon killed)

I don't know if it's right to say that Serge stole Lelia when she never loved Emile to begin with, she chose Emile as her boyfriend by elimination not love. From the beginning Lelia intended to take for her one of the conquest targets that Noelle left untouched, she though about who of the four other than Loic seemed like he wouldn't betray her and take her more seriously than the others, then she decided that Emile after seeing Serge letting her behind for the sake of travelling and living as an adventurer, Hughes being a womanizer and Narcisse just caring about his hobby the archeology.

While Leon is on the midle of Shuraba at the beginning, Leila and Serge arrive to a big steel door with a password that Leila suspiciously knows, they enter a hangar similar to Luxion's, they explore it and they find and armor similar to arroganz wreckaged, that armor gives Lelia a bad feeling for some reason and tells Serge to not touch it, after that Serge protects Lelia from a group of monsters, watching him fight Lelia feels he's reliable and that he may win against Leon or the five idiots, Serge tries to question her about why she knew of that place but she just gives excuses, they see a lot of destroyed flying ships on a deck but at the end there's one still intact, Lelia opens its door and a metal ball similar to Luxion but with blue colored body appears, the metal ball introduces itself as ideal and Lelia tells it to register her as its master, Ideal accepts and guides the too to the ship's living room where it tells the two to rest and eat while it prepares for leaving the undergound hangar, when Ideal leaves Serge begins to question Lelia again about why she knew of that place, Lelia still doesn't give any real answer, now he asks her why she got engeged with Emile despite knowing his feelings, Lelia says that's unrelated to him that he was the one who left her behind to begin with.

Several days later when Leon is walking towards his meeting point with Louise, Lelia appears on his way completely full of confidence for some reason, Leon gives his new year greeting like the japanese do it, Lelia is startled she asks him if he is teasing her, Leon says he isn't, that he just wanted to give his new year greeting on the japanese way for a long time, that earlier he exchanged greetings with Marie too and he almost cries with the nostalgia, Lelia decides to let him be and introduces Ideal to him and Luxion, she boasts to Leon and Luxion about how their master-AI relationship is better than theirs because Ideal is more respectfull and friendly with her than Luxion with Leon, she leaves after saying full of condidence with a self important tone that later they have to meet and talk about the future or it won't do.

When Leon arrives to the festival's place he's surpised at how it looks like a mobile amusement park, Louise explains that it was her father who decided to make it more children friendly after her brother's death and somehow it became like that, now Leon is surprised at seeing a youth proposing to a girl, the girl accepts and everyone applauds at the new couple, around them a lot more of men are proposing too and then queueing for entering a cave, Louise explains that proposing to your loved one at this time and place and then entering the cave for asking the sacred tree for its blessing is something popular at the commonwealth, that that it's the cave they have to enter for her to oath her loyalty to the sacred tree in front of the stone monument inside it, that even if it's something popular to enter with a lover anyone can enter with a friend or relative too so to not mind it, that for some time now the couples of people unreated to the nobles will have priority so they should make some time on the stalls and the amusements until the time for the people related to the nobles comes and the queue gets smaller.

After Louise's rescue one Lelia's former retainer visits her and tells her that the commonwealth absolved Leon's group, she's suspicious at how easy it's for them, she wonders if the Rault house is cooperating with them, she's upset at Leon for cooperating with the Rault house that destroyed her family and will become the last boss and decides to meet with him and Marie another day for asking them what's with them, Emile returns and her retainer leaves, Emile tells to Lelia that Alberk may desinherit Serge so from now on a lot of men may swarm Louise, Lelia wonders if Serge's matter is Leon's doing.

Several days later Lelia comes back home after wanting to meet Leon and Marie but not being able to do it, she asks Ideal if it still doesn't know Serge's location since Louise's rescue, Ideal says it didn't find Serge yet, that he's keeping himself hidden, Lelia calls it liar and says that he may be able of finding him in no time if it really wants, Ideal begins to scream at Lelia enraged to retire the liar part, that ot won't forgive it, Lelia goes back on her word and Ideal apologizes for its outburst, after promising to find Serge as soon as possible it leaves Lelia alone and goes to the secret meeting between Serge and the people from the Rachel Holy kingdom who want Leon dead.
