In my opinion, this episode was fantastic and the only complaint I have is the use of Core instead of Tsubasa (wtf is up with that?). It is a minor complaint though, as Core is a good soundtrack too, just not as exciting as Tsubasa...

Yeah it exist, unfortunately, we don't have TIPS because in them it is explain that Bernkastel lives in a dimension where all Kakera can be visualized (Which support her to be Frederica of Umineko), which makes us god-like.

If this is true then I'm even more convinced that Higurashi and Umineko Bernkastel are the same person, only taking on different forms.

It looks like they exist, however what I am not so sure about is if the games Beatrice claims to "create" are actually kakera. That's just my personal speculations though, pretty much everyone thinks they are kakera and there are many hints that point towards it

Bern's a witch though. How does a witch get to be protagonist if the idea is to prove the mystery was done by humans? Or what is the Truth I suppose is what Battler is suppose to be after.

There is no overall protagonist. Just because Umineko is part of the WTC series doesn't mean that Higurashi and Umineko relate to each other at all :U

That's not really what I mean. Sure both Higurashi and Umineko have their main protagonists, Keiichi and Battler respectively, but I mean a protagonist for the When They Cry series as a whole.

I think Bernkastel would be a suitable charcater for that because, as what was mentioned, she resides in a place where the kakera of many different worlds and time periods is visible. Perhaps this whole series is just about this supernatural being that just goes by the name "Fredrica Bernkastel" interacting with different worlds with major issues.

Of course I could be wrong, but from what I know it sounds like a solid idea.

the problem is the portraits are all made by the same person who has no connection with Deen. Will Deen pay this person to make a new portrait just for the last 8 episodes? I don't see this as a likely scenario.

As far as I can remember from the game, the portrait is the same than in the first Episode, so no.

how does it matter if she is witch or not ?

so what? And Eva on the gameboard wasnt fifteen something girl but a MILF and she still became Beato, and btw Bern already called her "Ange Beatrice" so, whats the problem with her being one?

objection!! Keiichi definetely wasnt protagonist neither for Kai nor Rei. He also wasnt a protagonist for Maekashi, Himatsubushi and partially for Tsumihoroboshi hen xD
