Favorite music genre?

J-Rock acts like UVERworld, Asian Kung Fu Generation and L'arc~en~Ciel are my favorites.

Wow i am surprised that rap has high voters...i dont consider that musik....which would include hip hop...but anyways.... The genres that i like i dont mind j-rock (Japanese goth metal bands like Moi dix Moi, Malice Mizer) or other gothic metal bands like Nightwish,Theatres Des Vampires,(cant believe i listed them ;_ or industrial,like, combichrist,And One,Psyclon Nine etc....

Though I listen to every genre of music, with the exception of Country, my favorite would have to be Classical. It's very relaxing and love listen to it when I'm working. Calms the nerves and helps you focus better. I also love dark ambient music.

why isnt jazz an option?

Jazz is my favourite genre, followed by rock, but I pretty much listen to a bit of everysingle genre in the world. I'm not the kind of guy that just because the music X is from genre X (wich I dont like) I wont try it out. I ususally dont like rap and pop, but I have some on my iTunes list ^^. Although in some cases I hate 99% of the musics from that genre ^^

All thanks to Nodame Cantabile, it openned a whole new world to me. Beethoven is my favourite, also like Mozart a lot. Dont like Bach though, definitely not my style.

I used to play the piano when I was in kindergarten, but I didnt own a piano so as soon as I got started with school I never touched a piano again. Now I'm rly pissed off! ^^

I used to always complain when my mother would play her Disco music in the car when I was younger.

Now when she comes in my car she enjoys listening to the Disco she grew up with and the Eurobeats I've come to love.

I enjoy pop (Prince, Michael Jackson, George Michael rank as my favorite pop acts) rock (David Bowie, The Police and The Who are my favorite rock acts), rap (I love Tupac and the N.W.A.), hip-hop, alternative (especially New Order and The Smiths), dance and J-Pop.

I personaly like strange mixes btu they have to be good music.
New Age is my main genre (it's a bit of strange music. basicaly pop to lounge music,a bit of dark sometimes with church organs and such but the most odd about it is that most of the songs are written in ancient Latin)
I may sometimes listen to some other bands such as Meat Loaf and u2.
My cousin is a hardcore metaler to the bone and she sometimes bumps me with lots of metal song so i listen some of them 2
