Yeesh, anyway, interesting points from Kurage earlier. I wouldn't know about the "fairy" bit but Zechs having a pet name for his daughter is strangely hilarious. I wonder if they're going to pull reestablishing the Peacecraft monarchy again since there are new heirs. Cuz heaven knows how long they pulled that shit with the Zabis and Deikuns in UC.

It seems to me that the real zechs does not want that (neither did relena pre frozen)

It hasn't really been explained very well yet but from what a I GATHER:
The Mars Federation is the government/nation of the entirety of Mars. The Lanigreen was a city/area IN the Mars Federation, which has rebelled and declared independence from the Mars Federation.
How the ESUN fits into all of this, ie whether the Mars Federation is a member of, ally, or enemy of the ESUN I still don't understand myself.

And that's what it seems like. I'm starting to wonder if they're trying to push a ship, there, but... >.> It could just be a sisterly type of thing. No way to know until we get translations I guess.

How're those going, by the way, Deacon?

I don't see smexual attraction there either. It's called bromance. One that sprang from Quatre's guilt, remorse and redemption and Trowa's forgiveness and closure.

IMO, the ships were always hinted. Especially in the endings, both series-wise and film/OVA-wise. Duo and Hilde were put together on a scene, and so are Zechs and Noin. And of course, Heero and Relena. The series' last scene was those two. And in the film, despite not ending up with each other (which broke my heart, BTW), their last scenes show both of them looking up from... under the same sky! Haha.

But seriously. Ships are hinted. That's why I never understood 3x4 fangirls. Quatre and Trowa never haunted each other in their dreams, nor did either of them come to senses at the sound of the other's voice, and whatnot. Quatre crying over Trowa's "death", which Quatre caused and later regretted, was NORMAL. It's not a hint of "Baaww! Tru lurve!".

Okay, that's my rant.

Unless....(stepping in to be silly for a moment) Qautre and Trowa ARE gay but realize that they cannot naturally have children thus they decide to make clones of everyone they goddamn know giving us the cast of Frozen Teardrop. (End silliness)

On another note, I wonder if we are gonna get a map of mars to see what lies in control of the Mars Federation, the Lanigreen Republic and what, if anything is loyal to the Earth Sphere/ Preventers.

And I concur on Full Armour Sandrock, it was always said that it had the best armor but due to the budget they couldn't show it in the series in as much detail (Right? someone back me up here) this is some awesome art so far in the manga. Heavyarms is also pretty sweet too. Though, nothing beats Heavy arms in EW, IMHO

Kitsoru, I knew about the Greek myth (I lol'd at the whole Wind and Fire thing, too. Clearly Zechs is the wind that feeds Noin's fire) but it's still pretty funny XD I Wiki'd Cyrene again and it doesn't say if she's human but maybe she's a nymph or something similar? Not sure if nymph and fairy share the same kanji or not, though. I was probably thinking too much about the Lucrezia/Noin thing. Since he's always called her Noin, him suddenly calling her Lucrezia seemed odd. I guess he's started to call her Lucrezia again after they got together and only refers to her as Noin when they're not together.. Lucrezia during intimate moments and Noin during every other time, I guess XD I have lecture recess coming soon and have been doodling Naina all over my notes so I'll probably have a go at fairy!Naina some day.

I looked at the conversation between Duo and Zechs again, this time with the help of my friend who is actually fluent in Japanese. She's only watched SEED and 00 so doesn't know much about Wing apart from Duo being awesome, and it's past midnight so my mind's a little foggy but I think this is what I got out of it. Do take this with a little grain of salt. This is only two pages and I started halfway through the chapter. I was going to have a go at finding out what the Neuenheim/Noinheim Konzern really is but.. maybe next time. Sigh, I can't believe I stayed up till 5AM for this. Why do I have to love Gundam Wing so much? I am so skipping Organic Chemistry class later. Stuff that I'm not too sure about are in bold.

LoweGear, thanks so much for the scans! I love FA-Sandrock! These ver.Ka's are really looking awesome. I can't wait to get my hands on the model kits, myself. They're going to be Master Grade, right? That's going to kill my wallet. I already have two sitting unassembled at home but as much as I want the Deathscythe, my money has to go to Banpresto first. I've been waiting too long to listen to Just Communication again in a SRT game

And imho, EW!Heavyarms is one of the most badass Gundams of all time (OF ALL TIME!).

One more random observation: Sumizawa seems to have spelt Miliardo with one L. I always thought it was Milliardo, with two L's. Isn't that how it's always been spelt?

The Milliardo Peacecraft who liberated Mars from Earth isn't Zechs but we all know that. Duo asks if the Relena Darlian inside the Little Prince (that's what the capsule is called, right?) is the real thing. Zechs reply confuses me - he says that that's actually a prisoner and that Noin was left as a bodyguard there (This is also where he goes "Lucrezia, no, Noin.."). Anyways, Zechs tells Duo that Dix-whatshisname is Noin's brother, blood-related. He's using the name Milliardo Peacecraft to cover up who he really is. Why he chose that name, I'm not sure. Meanwhile, these two continue downing tequilas. After the 5th round of tequila, Duo asks if he should still call Zechs 'WIND'. I'm not too sure what Zechs' reply is. I think he's saying that the town they're in is called Cyrene. But anyways, Duo says he'll call him Wind of Cyrene. Here the Greek myth is mentioned. When Duo talks about Cyrene, the kanji for fairy is used so I guess that's how the Japanese refer to Cyrene. Anyways, Naina walks in at this point. It's stated that she's seven years old, has blond hair in pigtails and that she's cute. Interestingly, Duo is reminded of when he first met Relena! So here, Zechs introduces her. Naina says that she's going to serve Relena as per her mother's wishes. Imperial Guard no.2, I suppose XD The next part is a bit unclear. Duo asks about her and Noin, and Naina's reply.. is strange. I think she's saying that she's a 'wayward' daughter? Idk! Anyways, Naina asks Zechs if he knows Duo. Zechs tells her he's Father Maxwell and that eventhough he looks older, he's actually younger than him. A little talk about the conditon/disease thing where some people age faster. Zechs then asks if Duo will take Naina to the Schbeiker orphanage. She protests but Zechs says she's got a bounty on her head (HUH!?). Well, maybe not a bounty but generally, she seems to be targeted. Duo agrees and says that it'll be a long trip but he'll bring her all the way to Hilde. Duo's thoughts seem to be hinting that the Neuenheim/Noinhem Konzern is Zechs enemy, which is why he agrees since he thinks it's going to be dangerous for Naina. The next part has me going DAWWWWW a little.... Naina refuses and says she'd rather be with her daddy everywhere he goes. He says that he's the Wind of Cyrene, but he'll be there to pick her up again. Naina is still a little hesitant and Zechs ask if he has ever broken any promise to her. Naina says that he hasn't and Zechs then asks her to trust him, and to go with Duo. Naina gets teary-eyed, ala blue-eye Peacecraft family style (so she is the one who inherited the blue eyes!) and says that she'll go. Zechs apologises and says she'll be strong, just like he taught her to be and.. they hug. ahem If you'll just bear with my personal thoughts for a while.. I'm really glad to know that Zechs is having such a strong and good relationship with his daughter. By the end of the show, I always thought that Zechs should.. settle down and have a family. As in, he may have lost his family and when the kingdom fell again, it lead him to think that he no longer had a purpose. But having a family of his own would perhaps give him a reason and something to protect again. Well, something like that. Basically! I'm just glad that Zechs has his own family to protect and love now. I know he's got Relena but.. you know what I mean! Or not.. I don't think I'm making sense here. I need to sleep! Anyways, Duo thinks it's a pity that they have to part ways and that it might get a little troublesome. Then he gets drunk and passes out on the bar counter. He mumbles that they'll leave at noon the next day before heading off to dreamland. Naina finds him the next day and gives him some stuff that Zechs gave her and told him to use it for their travelling money. Seems like people were already starting to target Zechs while Duo was sleeping. And that's all I got. Some stuff that both you and I are probably wondering, which can probably be answered if I started from the beginning of the chapter instead: - The Relena inside the Little Prince really bothers me. So where is the real one then? I'm hoping I got this wrong or something, I don't need more mindfuck from Sumizawa! - Still don't really know why Noin's brother called himself Milliardo Peacecraft. Why does he want to cover up his identity. And the bit where it says the Neuenheim/Noinheim is Zechs' enemy... just who are these people? Why is his brother-in-law's company his enemy? Once again, I hope I got this one wrong. If there are his enemy, though, maybe they're the ones targeting him and his daughter? But.. he refers to his daughter as Neuen/Noinheim.
