Argh... when I made that post, I think I was too exhausted to go into proper detail. I'm not actually any better now, but I'll give it a try. 8)
Basically the red text cannot be used in Rokkenjima Prime and in fact, the red text technically comes from that level, via the two authors. Red text was an invention of Yasu/Beatrice and Battler/Tooya also used it for his stories. As authors they probably did some research on certain facts or already knew some things and included them in their stories. And the red text can only be things like that that they decided to add to the story. The red text that concerns things like the settings or character and character actions, of course. Not the red text that is specific to episodes, for example. But as authors of Rokkenjima Prime, their stories or red text could be invalidated by new information, like if they discovered Erika's body somewhere else. Or Eva's diary. Or someone found information from Kyrie's old shady dealings. Etc, etc. And so that's where you get Red text being described as absolute and yet being invalidated later. This may not have been what you guys were talking about, but I thought it might have been good to bring up. |

It is done. ??? completed and Episode 8 completed.
Spoiler for Summaries:
The End. And that as they say is that. The entirety of Twilight of the Golden Witch in a gigantic, hastily made and poorly worded summary. Thanks to everyone who commented and gave corrections and feedback to this little endeavor of mine, too me almost 6 weeks of on-off playing just to finish it but finish it I did. So that ends 4 episodes worth of summaries with the end of ep8, despite the fact that I only managed to finish 2/4 and the other two halfway done. Oh yes, chances are I'll do this again if Rsukishi makes another When They Cry series. This is Meo, tired and hungry, taking my leave.

Thanks for the summary, I got the gist of it before but I don't trust my Japanese skills at all, so your summaries helped me a lot.
I'll never understand how a paraplegic Battler managed to escape the island using a motorboat, but it's possible. It's just that the mental image of it is just so amusing it hurts. |

I assume it happened through him almost drowning, because Ikuko often mentions how he doesn't have simple amnesia...so I assume that his body and brain suffered due to the oxygen-loss. Some small things that I'd like to correct about Meo's summary. Sorry for being so bold, it must have been really hard work. Spoiler:

Medically speaking his paraplegia was likely a result of brain damage affecting the primary motor cortex, causing him to lose the use of his legs as a result of the accident. The thing is however, unless he hit his head somewhere hard enough to cause traumatic tissue damage, the injury is likely a result of prolonged hypoxia from diving into the sea after you know who. The problem here is that hypoxic brain damage is more often universal than focal, so if this were the case it would be odd that he only lost complete use of his legs combined with retrograde amnesia. It is more likely that he had traumatic head injury before he was discovered by Hachijou.

If Umineko Rei doesn't include a hilarious adventure as Ange attempts to first recover (through a series of hilarious mishaps) and then actually decipher Battler's notes on The Real Actual Truth, I will be quite disappointed.
"There's nothing in here but drawings of big-breasted witches and 'ihihihihi' written over and over in the margins. Goddamn you, Battler!"

"Alright Ange, you deserve to know, the one truth."
As Battler tells her, a train speeds by, preventing Ange from hearing anything. "Onii-chan, say that again? Onii-chan?" Battler's eyes had gone cold and dead. "God dammit, what happened now?" Hachijou, with a pained expression, said, "The interference of all the wifi must have interfered with his pacemaker..." "OH COME ON!"
