At least it won't be going quite near RAGE-worthy, though... yes, parts of it will be extremely effed up and make you want to shoot a few people (or at least wish they'd die a painful death), but I don't think I remember it going quite near the RAGE level of our last infamous arc

I disregard official names in this case since it's clear the author intends to use proper English names but they come out with funky transliterations due to linguistic differences.

Arnette: Anette

Ganessa: Vanessa

Satella: Stella

Cassie: Cathy

Translators should balance transliterations with the author's obvious intent. I mean, on his blog he spells it "Satelaser".

It's odd how inconsistently this is applied, by the way. You never see someone transliterating "Arthur" as "Assah" just because that's how they pronounce it, why so for other names?

She's like a lesser Stella.. determined to not give up, but can't turn that corner like Stella can. Well done to Elizabeth though. showing them how its done at Japan west. Also, the monologue at the end was great too. Hyping Chiffon up even more.

Sounds odd to me but after googling it seems like a real name. But I'd still lean towards Cathy as the "th" sound in Japan is frequently converted to a long "s" sound.

So I'm a bit confused about the time of the spinoff. I'd always assumed that each class has its own carnival every year but that doesn't seem to be the case as Ticy is one rank below Anette after losing to her in a carnival that clearly didn't occur in their third year. So my guess is that this is showing them in the second year, as they are the only class who are seen to have carnivals and that the ranks carry over. It would also make sense because Marine is still alive at this time. I honestly like this better because we'll see how the selection process ordinarily occurs, not in the odd way it happened for the main pair.
