Random Help - Are we able to sent text messages to Japan?

I know they run on a whole different level of phones, but is there a way to send a text/mail message at all to a mobile phone? I live in Canada and Rogers is my provider. Just wanted to know I looked around online but i couldn't quite get a straight answer. Thanks in advance!

I think it's possible with Rogers, and there's a $0.20 charge associated with these texts. Japan's country code is 81, and the format is supposed to be 011 - 81 - Region Code - Mobile Number. Hope that helps

If I remember correctly, +81 also does the same thing as 011 - 81.

You did remember correctly since on mobiles adding the + sign before the country code is the same as using the international dialling code in your country.
