LMAO - While I could see Lucy having a blonde moment, I would hope she manages to figure that out on her own.

Well, based on the dialog it's pretty clear that Caprico is using some sort of tricky magic. Rather than dodging or blocking, he's making his opponents miss. Naturally you'd expect there to be something like illusions or fate control or something like that. So while he loses to Loke in pure strength, he can easily win with good strategy. Also, don't forget that Caprico has access to Lost Magic, putting Loke at an even greater disadvantage.

As for Loke acting solely on his own power, the same argument can be used for Caprico, eliminating that as a possible factor.

Well, Caprico sure seems like his own master but there's nothing that says he couldn't have been summoned by someone offscreen, maybe even Hades himself. I don't think there's such a thing as a distance or time limit for celestial spirits as long as the summoner is sufficiently strong enough.

That's a good point; allow me to correct my previous statement: As for Loke acting solely on his own power, the same argument can be used for Caprico, eliminatingreducing the likelyhood of that as a possible factor.

Hades named Caprico as one of the seven Kin of Purgatory, so it is highly unlikely that a summoned celestial spirit would even be considered for such a high ranking position. However, an exiled celestial spirit would make a prime candidate - sort of the same circumstances as Leo becoming Loke. Hades doesn't strike me as an idiot, so I doubt he would place such trust in an entity that could suddenly vanish if anything happened to its master.

I am not sure if I am remembering correctly but did Master Hades mention in the anime something about his 7th Kin of Purgatory?

I think I may be mixing up my Manga and Anime sequence LOL...

Anyways I am excited to see this arc animated!!

Yes, he mentioned them in the latest episode (105).

It's easy enough to do, especially with how quickly the anime is catching up.

Huge improvement in animation, and amazing performances from everyone involved. "Evil" Zeref (for lack of a better name) was particularly awesome. Of course, they say Lisanna had three minutes to live on the bomb, but they ended up making it five. They actually showed us the "Ultear vs. Zeref" fight, and they made it plenty intense. It was seriously worth watching, actually seeing Ultear catch him (not because I actually hate the poor emo guy despite what's been said about him, but because fighting such a fight between such strong opponents had to be seen).

Looks like next week will adapt two chapters at least. We get to see what may be the rest of Elfman & Evergreen vs. Rustyrose, and it seems Loke will get serious against Caprico.

Sorry but ultear stole all the fan service IMO this episode. Though her fight seemed lack luster the skin tight body suit and determination made it a worthwhile experience.

Poor Mirajane, but unfortunately it was an expected outcome. Ever since Lisanna was 'killed' she has barely fought and her personality had a drastic change. Asking her to fight one of the best of Grimoire Heart in that condition was too much. Seems like she used up quite a bit just from that test against Eflman and Evergreen.

At the very least she's down for the count here. Though if Lisanna's reaction means anything it could be worse than that...

They've all got some tough enemies to face here. Definitely worried about Elfman and Evergreen. They've got a tough opponent there.

Their plan is pretty crazy as well. Pretty much make it a world where if you don't have some kind of magic you won't be able to survive....Well at least they are making it easy for Fairy Tail to be motivated in stopping them.

Strange, I thought the budget-saving animation really stuck out in this ep. Reused clips everywhere, particularly for face shots. Felt Mirajane got shortchanged

Well, maybe it's more like everything was less off-model. The anime really didn't do Zancrow all that much justice.

Haven't seen the anime look so good since the Tower of Heaven arc. That's where the first season hit its peak, production-wise.

Wonder how the movie's animation will fare. I can't wait to see footage, or at least screenshots (if I can't see how well it's animated, I at least want to see how good it looks).

Really awesome episode. The Mirajane fight was great (if only she hadn't used Satan Soul against Evergreen and Elfman, she could have Soul Extinctioned his ass), and I got chills at the end of it. I'm also happy they animated the Ultear v Zeref fight.
