Dist: 8.3/10 I'm not sure who she is but the first thing tha came to my mind was some fanart of Konata from Lucky Star or something.

^This. How'd you guess ? It hardly looks like Konata, I wouldn't have known either if I hadn't found it when I was browsing image boards for Konata images.

8/10 for you. I don't know if it's just me but it doesn't look like transparent .. maybe it's because of the border ? Typically in transparent images you wouldn't have one.

With that said, what do you consider '' generic '' as ? A face shot ? Cause that's what your avatar is too, not to mention hundreds of other avatars. If that's not what you meant, then I've no idea what part of my avatar falls into the generic category that gains as much as 6 minus points.

Yeah, you're not a big reader of manga. That's disappointing to me, but you would know who my avatar is if you had read, "Blame!" by Tsutomu Nihei. Don't start ranting at someone because they criticize your crappy avatar. The last time I checked this thread wasn't a circle jerk.

That's exactly what I'm talking about. He gives us this focus on the face(which is frowning), uses dark colors, uses a plain background, and expects me to give it a high rating. I get that this thread has become more of circle jerk than someplace for healthy criticism, but someone needs to get a grip and not throw temper tantrums(giving me negative rep, crying in thread) when someone doesn't give them the rating they wanted out of them.

Yours though, is very nice. You have a good mix of colors, nice shading, nice border, and I like that I can't remember where that character is from. I think I know where it's from, but it could also be original work, y'know? You get a good rating. 9/10 for the reasons stated above.
