I apologize, I don't know how to post pictures on the forum without having me referred to making some sort of reference to another website and I find it kind of troublesome to manage another web account.

-I figured I could get away with the 51cms on Nagato since she's been wrecking on the regular enemy nodes before getting to the boss. Rarely missing shots and all.
-I did not know about the AP shells being effective against turrets and have changed them accordingly. Thank you for that.
-I did not know that dive bombers were preferrable as well and thought that torpedo bombers were still best for anti-installation combat.
-I've changed Nagara to Ooyodo and equipped 2 wg42s and 2 20.3cm guns. However I really don't have any of the new kai ni DDs that can equip the offensive variants of daihatsu and abukuma has only recently rejoined my ranks somewhere during my forays into E3 and resource runs of 2-3.
-I switched up Atago and Choukai now.

I think I'll try putting the Fusou sisters in the place of Nagato and Mutsu as a study of sorts. I've run out of resources but I'll see how things go once I get enough resources for a few runs. Thanks for the help.

Neither. Look at both nodes and see what you need from them other than Harusame. E2 offers Akizuki/Teruzuki, having more Akizuki guns is always great. E7 offers some rare ships, too, if you're still missing them, including Oyashio.

Of course it doesn't work that well if you don't sparkle the whole fleet. Map support fleet is the only case where you really want everyone sparkled for almost guaranteed support activation. Only 2 kanmusu is hardly enough for that endeavour.

I'd advise a third or even fourth dive bomber on every CV, but since you aren't really equipped for that, increase your BB load to make up for that. So add a third cannon on all of your BB.

Also, use torpedo bombers with LBA for your air squads. Do not waste your time with dive bombers: torpedo bombers are more effective so you can deal with sturdier targets. They are here to clean the trash, not critically damaging the boss.
Also try grinding every plane chevrons to the max. You can easily do so by using a lone sub and send your airsquad to the first node. Retreat after that fight, rinse and repeat.

Man, I am annoyed. I finally experienced an arrival at the E7 boss node with all my escorts at green during Yasen. Then what happens? No one targets Central hime, and instead they focus-fire on Carrier hime. *facepalm*

Take note, this started with the entirety of my escort fleet at full health. The enemy fleet just proceeded to demolish all the ships that could harm Center during yasen. It's ridiculous.

@ Myssa Rei, I had plenty of run like those in E7.I can't really se a option how to make the last kill in hard without some very lucky air support targeting the flagship, but it seem to me than the difficulty might affect even the targeting; on easy my airstrike attacked Central Hime all the time while in hard there was some run while only the support fleet would target her.

Going to have to stop for the day, as rather than running out of resources, I ran out of sparkled destroyers for my support fleets. Gonna spend the next few hours resparkling them, which is also a good opportunity to get back some buckets.

This is my current fleet for E-4, I sense that something is out of place, but honestly can't see what it is.

I gave up using 4 DDs and 2 CAVs on E5. Using 2 BBV is much more easier to reach boss in e5. If it weren't for the shitty red T and Teruzuki had to spare ONE bomber that wrecked 2 ships. Like WTF man!

K, tweaked the fleet a little, gotta have to trust in Murakumo to do the AACI for a while though her low AA stat is making me worry.

About Sendai, actually she performs quite well with that set up, and she hasn't failed me in deliver proper torpedo cutin in yasen since she got K2.
And finally the star shell is going to Maya (Haguro has yasen scout plane and gonna switch the searchlight to Yuudachi)...

1) Change the setup on Kirishima to AP. The rocket launcher is doing absolutely nothing but costing you precious firepower.

2) Don't mix kanbaku and kankō. On a map where you go against fleet targets only use kankō only.

3) The only reason Sendai is performing well in your opinion is because she's in the flagship spot. Her luck value is fairly abysmal at 14.

4) Change Haguro's loadout to two 20.3cm guns, one recon plane and one radar.

5) Do you have any dedicated AA destroyer? Your Maya is not even Kai Ni so she's useless as anti-air kanmusu. Maya Kai isn't the strongest Kai CA out there if memory serves me right, look for another one to replace her.
