The first part of the episode should be renamed as モリサマーがみてる considering how Sanae went full admiring kouhai mode.
Even Rikka felt she was being NTR'd at some point Really, this episode was hilarious, although I hope we will have a little more "serious" stuff between Shinka and Sanae in the future. Meanwhile, Makoto is pretty much the butt monkey forevermore to the point it becomes a bit sad.

I hope just this week. Come to me, Chuunibyou, the main redeeming point of Wednesdays. ;_;
Well, the screenshot rulfo posted promises for a good episode at least. Not that a Shinka episode could ever really go wrong. |

Episode wasn't bad, but definitely felt like pointless filler, especially with everything back to the status quo at the end. I actually feel bad for Nibutani. She does something nice for Dekomori and loses her dream of becoming StuCo president, which could probably look pretty good on a college resume.
It's my biggest issue with the chuunibyou characters-- their own futures are already endangered (Rikka's especially) if they don't grow out of it-- but they're dragging others down with them, as well. Again, it's knowing when to have fun and knowing when you have to be real, which they obviously don't. They're so wrapped up in their delusions that it makes it very hard to believe they can really separate fantasy from reality. In the real world, they'd probably be sent to a psychiatrist for a major psych evaluation. It's why I was never too hard on Yuuta last season when he freaked out on them. He spoke the truth. It's only a matter of time before the chuunibyou causes some really serious problems.

Well, dunno about labelling this ep filler material just yet. Who knows where the overall plot will go for now.... But essentially I also would prefer to habe things go in a more serious direction too....
Not a bad ep, though, I guess. ^^

Shinka and Deko are my two favorite characters, so naturally, I loved this episode. It was great to see Dekomori's attitude change once she learned Shinka was the real Mori Summer. It's a shame the status quo was restored at the end, but it's more entertaining this way.
I felt really bad for Shinka when Dekomori revealed her shameful past to the whole school. All of her dreams were shattered.
