@Chris... I just have one modification to your theory. Instead of an organ that converts energy, I would say it's more based on a gene within the DNA of youkai. Afterall, there's rather limited space in a human body, and injection of youkai blood into a human either adds a gene, or more likely, mutates an already-existing gene. To now touch upon Fuhai's modifications... essentially, the blood system in humans is of course made to carry human blood. When human blood mutates courtesy of youkai blood injections, the blood system and the rest of the human body is unable to carry it optimally, and berserk mode comes out because of the human body being taken over by blood it can't handle. Fuhai's technique probably does exactly as its name describes- the blood system and whatever other systems are modified to be able to carry this blood with the mutated gene. Or at least, that's how I think it works

Well as far as the series goes only Mizore can make clones. Ice dolls to be exact replica of a person.

the last fight with the Raijuu made me even more happy about my OC being a ifrit (the creator of fire pretty much) now that I know he can fit in

my guess is that all they need to do is to make mizore Freeze the room's walls... Raika teleports via those metal wired walls kinda like in instant... so if mizore freezes those walls with ice he wont be able to teleport anymore and his speed will drop down

so kinda rubi doesnt need to sacrafice herself... and mostly tsukune wont allow for that to happen...

yet still a month of waiting is a killer XD

Honestly, I doubt that something is going to happen to her, since to me R+V isn't a kind of manga, where major characters die...

So, either something is going to happen that will make Ruby not needing to use her forbidden magic to defeat Raika, or the side effects of her forbidden magic won't be as drastic as they currently seem to be, since Ruby will be capable of controlling it, without it's side effects doing too much harm to her body...

Anyway, I don't see her dieing from this, the most negative effect that I think could happen to Ruby is that she will be prevented from using magic, till the end of the current arc.

I agree. Theoretically, it would be a waste to kill Ruby off after all of them trained for a month, just to kill a character off in a suicide-ish way. I would have prefered Ruby soloing Raika in a different way, without a doubt, though. Mainly because he's such an arrogant and self-loving @ss who should not have deserved it any better

. Then again, she was desperate(?) to protect/fulfill the dream of her friend and hers.

Oh gosh, thinking of Ruby out of action is reminding me of an old episode of Sailor Moon, where all the scouts are crushed one by one by Malachite (Kunzite in Japan), leaving Sailor Moon to fight him one on one. Will the group be picked off the same way, so only Tsukune will be left standing to face Akuha in single combat? That would really suck, and leave no one left to stop Gyokuro. But I guess we'll find out soon enough. Until then...

on a side note, i found one of these kind of mouse pads in a abandon home, some very old school anime chick on it ((Butt pad, no boobs)) and its pretty uncomfortable... but then again its prob old and the cushion is stale.

I dunno, I think Ikeda's the type to follow through if it'll make sense and improves the overall story. Although I pray she's going to be alright D8..

However he the freakin Raijuu which is totally not cool. Hes the 5th division boss and hes the Raijuu i cant fathom what the others 4 are like. Hes one tough nut to crack i just hope we dont lose Ruby in the process, because she would sacrifice her life to save her friends no doubt about that and she is 100% serious about using that death spell if if it takes him out.

Because all the girls including Fanfan will be facing those kind of situations in this Arc, this is no surprise, if any of the heros would face death itle probably be Tsukune, i doubt Ikeda would kill off any of the girls or Fanfan.

I doubt that Tsukune is going to be killed, since that would be the end of this manga, and a pretty bad one I have to add...

After all, despite what you think, the R+V story is mostly about Tsukune, and it's not like he can be replaced with some other character...

Anyway, regarding Ruby's supposed death, honestly what it would bring to the story - to me it would be kind of pointless, not to mention that Ikeda would lose an easy way of lightning up the mood during some serious fight with Ruby's S&M tendencies, as we had seen in the last two chapters.

So taking that into consideration, I doubt that Ikeda is going to write Ruby out of the story...
