If you don't like for example Zaraki Kenpachi-Kusajishi Yachiru, then who would do best as a Vice Captain for Kenpachi in your opinion? As for me I'd prefer Ikkaku

Atually i think that Renji would be better back in Zaraki's squad, i think he can take him.

Shuheii should officially become 9th squad captain and he should take MakiMaki as his vice-captain

Ikkaku (while cool in 11th squad) should become 3rd squad captain

Renji and Kira should become co-captains of 5th squad...

or else Yoruichi should resume being a captain, but she should take 5th squad

Amen i have been waiting to watch her put the hurt on someone. We only saw her get angry once during the first SS mission and i remember all the regular Shinigamis freaked out and said dont make her angry.

IMO shes is the best match for Kenpachi i mean he listens to her i dont think he would listen or even associate with someone else. Also theres that big guy little person friendship thing going on. Kind of like in Madmax beyond thunderdom

If they were in dire need of some captains im sure Yachiru could be one, from what we saw when she got angry, im pretty sure she has bankai.

only ones really deserving to be captains are the outcasts yoruichi, urahara and isshin. all the above suggestions are nothing compared to them, power, experience, you name it.

mayuri can go back to his technician days, urahara and tessai should resume captain/VC, division 12 should be made commanding division. he is going to do so much better than the geezer.

soi fong wouldn't think twice about dumping omaeda and becoming yoruichi's VC.

ichigo'll be isshin's VC. no bond's stronger than family
renji etc. can remain as damn solid VCs instead of crappy captains

then that would be a real kickass gotei 13

you forgot squad 9 and you left out Shiba Kūkaku...

they could let her and Ganjou run 9th squad.

kukaku's cool but she's no captain material, and ganju's comic relief. kaien was basically running div13 back, i'm sure shuuhei could do the same, with a little help from komamura maybe. better leave the captain spot for someone who truly deserves it rather than just promote random VCs because of their "next in line" status. promoting people does nothing for the war with aizen. cooperating with urahara/yoruichi/isshin on the other hand, can make a huge difference. cooperating with vaizard and learning their art = aizen pwned. in terms of power and information, shinji's well above your average captain. sadly with yamaji's ego and S.S. pride in the way, none of this will happen.

With the open spots that we have I would honestly like to see some kind of readjusting of the Gotei ranks, either that or introduce 1 or 2 new characters to fill something in.
