The Pope had no comprehension of Fianma’s words so he gave up trying.
Instead, he asked directly
“Surely there’s a pipeline between Academy and England? However, if England were to come under attack, it would deal fatal damage to Academy I believe. Given what a huge hostage England is, Academy would be unable to continue the war beneath that calm facade of theirs. 「For the sake of helping our ally」becomes the pretext.”
Conversely if the attack were to fall on Academy City first, England’s actions would be halted. The Anglican Church is one of the three main denominations of Christianity. The meaning of that is significant. Going to war with Roman Catholicism and Russian Orthodoxy; the last two of the three great denominations would be unthinkable.

I was just looking at Volume One again, when I noticed something interesting-

Touma actually seems to be closer to Aogami then to Tsuchimikado at first. I don't think the spy is really even mentioned, and the only one thought about is Aogami- I wonder if those two had a better friendship before.

Komoe-sensei really hates people mentioning the word "small", yet likes people to call her "cute". However, Komoe-sensei doesn’t mind not being viewed by the students as a teacher. Of course, this is because this is Academy City. 80% of the population here are "students", so it can be called a "children’s country". Thus, the criticisms on those "teachers that aren’t working hard enough" are a lot harder than outside schools. Besides, the rank of the students here includes "homework" and "powers". Over here, the teachers’ role here is just to "develop" the students’ powers. The teachers themselves don’t really have any powers, though. The P.E. teachers and teaching staff that are like instructors are all like monsters who've taken part in outside army organizations, being able to use their metal palms to take down students with powers. Of course, Komoe-sensei, who teaches chemistry, doesn’t have these traits. “I say, Kami-yan…” “What?” “To be scolded by Komoe-sensei, doesn’t it make you excited~?” “You’re the only one who’ll be excited, idiot! That’s enough, shut up! Our summer will be doomed if we’re forced to play with raw eggs when we don’t even have telekinesis powers! Stop getting me into trouble with that fake Kansai accent!” “Fake… fake Kansai accent? Why would I fake a Kansai accent? I’m really a native from Osaka~!” “Shut up! You’re born in a village full of rice fields! I’m already irritated; stop making me try to think of debating with you!” “I… I-I-I’m not born in a village of rice fields! What kind of dirt is stuck over there such that even three machines are having difficulty removing it? Did his neighbor next door, Tsuchimikado Motoharu try to give up his virginity, get himself drunk trying to act like a delinquent, and vomit all over his door as if it were a telephone pole? Thinking about this, Kamijou feels a chill. And of course, there's that famous sentance that has everyone up in arms.
