The purple haro belongs to the red haired girl now(forget her name shes hot to howd i forget grah x.x) and they took the information out of that to make the Throne Gundams sadly they couldn't make the uber gn particles hahah xD

To answer your question, what information we have been given on the GN Drives, states that they "harnesses the photon and positron discharge of the non-evaporative decay of baryonic matter as an energy source." GN Particles are a byproduct of this process. Basically, they're taking the photonic and positronic (anti-matter) product of a rapid nuclear decay (This isn't fission or fusion, Cox, it's the natural breakdown of the atomic particles) and turning it into electrical power while producing GN Particles... Atleast as close as I can tell. So they likely have to 'refuel' the drives with some 'un-specified' baryonic matter (which could be anything from deuterium(heavy water), to some sort of super condensed gas). The TD Blanket though, appears to do a number of things, least of which includes making the GN Particle byproducts safe. But as the TD Blankets are the defining feature of the genuine drives, and they don't require refueling that we know of, it appears to loop the reactant materials in the reactor for an infinite fuel source. |

Now that's what I call an expanation! It's advanced writing that shows the physics and I can understand it completely.
The GN Drive Tau needs a recharge of somesort (electricity or whatever) because it keeps losing GN Particle Output the longer it's in operation like Johann Trinity said in ep. 22....or was that mistranslated too? |

But on the subject of Nena and Johann's dialogue in Episode 22. They're talking about remaining particles, as if the Tau Drives are big GN Particle Storage Devices. That doesn't jive with what Ian said about the Tau Drives in Episode 18. He said that they function just like a normal drive, meaning they 'produce' their GN Particles. It isn't that what they were saying was even inaccurate, from a phsyics standpoint they should be able to measure the potential output of a set amount of fuel. Say you have X amount of Baryonic Matter (GN Fuel), we'll say 5 litters in your drive, so they likely know how much 'nuclear decay' or what not that amount of matter is equivalent to in GN Particle production, so they know they'll get fifty billion particles (hypothetically speak, just using that number as an example) out of it? See what I'm gettin at? |

Celestial Being has always been the protagonists in the literary sense.
A Protagonist is simply the character or group of a story on whom the story has a much greater focus on, and the Antagonists oppose them. This is different from being a hero or villain, which are the terms you're looking for. While Celestial Being are the protagonists of 00's story, they are hardly purely heroic, and the power blocs may be the antagonists, but they're hardly purely evil. Thus far there is no such thing as a "Dark Side" or other such evil in 00.
