That sounds pretty reasonable. I like to do everything in a day or two, which is probably why I mainly collect HG kits

And, nice pics of your newer models.

Well you'll have to paint the SD 00 to make it look more like it's HG counterpart

I own a SD-00 too... though I didn't paint it, but it looks just as cute after i've done the panel linings.

I have SD Exia and 00, along with some of the Three Kingdoms Gundams.

Yes, they're quite cute indeed. :3

What color panel lining would you use for a black gundam like the strike noir?

SD models are cute but building them is too quick to be really fun and generally have fewer features, so all you can do really is look at them. They must be a pain to airbrush too though they need panel-lining so bad and look like fun to paint. Very popular with Hong Kong computer mall shopkeepers - get the people coming XD

SDs are abit pricey for their size to me. Local hobby shops have them on sale from $10 to $13 while HGs range from $18 to $22 for the cheaper ones. Sure I can get two SDs instead of say a Gaza C or a Kerberos Becue (both $26) but there's alot less playability from SDs.

It's used to order specific parts of a model from Bandai, like say hand parts. Don't bother with it though as it works only in Japan.

Red,brown, gold, yellow, white. The actual color is up to you to decide what looks best on the model. The strike noir has lesser panel lining to do compared to the other strikes' iirc. Black is viable if the marker color is strong enough. I detailed the launcher of my Gadessa today and the lining is quite visible from the black/gray parts.

So, I saw a certain item in a shop today - though sadly, Idon't know if I will be out that way again for some time, if ever.

But, assuming I can find/order it one day, if any of you have

Spoiler for this:

is it worth going for?
