Yes, as of now there is no VN work that goes past Alternative, unless you count the split path that TDA took. All the stories post Alternative are from TSFiA at the moment.

Sadogashima was the second hive taken down (first was Yokohama with 2 G-bombs). The other hives are all after. See this timeline. http://muvluv.wikia.com/wiki/Alternative_Timeline and the material are Gray Elements, which BETA are mining. After alternative, mankind can take out hives the conventional way, since they now have a map.

Sadogashima is the second hive that's been taken back and Yokohama is also another hive which was turn into a base. Takeru was surprised there when he found out and it looks like the beginning of alternative is the part where they take back yokohama base and they saw those brains in tube.

But even saw the Susanoo did a great job to take back Sadogashima but in the end it all crumpled down on Takeru and they result in G-Bombing the island and in result erasing the island itself.

So, so far 2 hives taken back thanks to G-bombs.

With all the monstrous TSF it just look wasted for me.

I'm not familiar with other works and still catching up. I'm only familiar with the trilogy game that is translated. Thus I'm not familiar with chronicles or other works or TSFiA. I don't even know what's the story on those works.

And what do you mean that TDA did a split path? Takeru didn't show up?

So far, it looks like the Alternative of Takeru is the end point seeing him blasting that tentacle monster. I'm not familiar with post work before his time. And yet the einshi and tsf before his time looks cool and strong but still didn't manage to win the stupidly large NUMBERS of Beta. They still ended up being ended up a certain slider.

And take no offense because I'm not familiar with the other works that I'm belittling them. Its just that I don't know their side of story and I only know one of the story. And the story that I know is the end of the others story. So the others story before him just sound an excuse or an expansion of the world where he lives in or where his thrown into.

And even if they are all good pilots in the end they needed a help from an outsider..... just sad you know for that's sliders sake.

Ok, looks like we got you confused since we were discussing stuff outside of the main trilogy. I will try to explain the Takeru part.

Spoiler:

Firstly there are the stories that happen beofre Takeru appears in the world. Those are mostly the side stories and stuff like TE and Schwarz.

Then when Takeru comes, he has two branches, the Unlimited path, and the Alternative path.

1. The unlimited path is where he ends up dying, but TDA occurs before that happens, so we have a world where alternative 5 has taken place, which is The Day After story.

2. The Alternative path is where Alternative 4 is a success, and after Takeru's dissociation, humanity continues to fight on, which is where some stories from TSFiA occur with Human's kicking the BETA's asses.

in a thousand times already from what Yuuko and Takeru discuss about being a casualty conductor. The memory that Takeru just happen to remember is one loop at a time but as the story progress. His memory was being triggered and so on that it might branch into infinity that he died before Alt V or during training or being killed by Beta or Human.

So TSFiA is the story after Alt IV? but if

Each vol? TSFiA is as per the files in the download link, stories are from mags so they are one to two pages of text with the pictures. And TSFiA are short stories in the world of Muv Luv, so they range from years before Alt to years after.
The TSFiA compilations are up to vol 5 as of now I think.

They manage to took hives back but it sounded that they always ended up using G Bombs and the Tsf are still not enough to take it down or maybe they manage to infiltrate it but ended up using the suicide way of deploying S11? I can't remember the type of mineral extracted in the hive that can be used as a bomb to take down a reactor

You thinking about this too hard, basically TDA's setting took place after Unlimited's ending where Alternative V taken place before Takeru dying in there or whatever that happened then goes through to his loop to Alternative's world/timeline.

It is not that. I am not playing translated version or anything. The thing is I can read and understand a bit Japanese. Unknown Kanji I just look up here.

About those military ranks. Well. They had something like military boot camp proposed by Walken and helped by Yuuhi.Guess three times whose fault it was in the first place. It was all for silly school airsoft tournament(?) proposed in School Staff meeting by Yuuko,however when Mitsurugi sisters get involved in something, nothing stays ordinary it seems . After returning from 10 day training, Takeru kinda glitched(?) and started to call everyone by their Alternative ranks, got Milky Drill Punch'd and returned back to normal.

Drinking episode was even more silly than in Extra. I laughed so hard when heard drunk Walken.

I'm at Ski resort episode now. Oh boy, Takeru with skis...
