One Piece - Chapter 604 (manga)

Title: Into the depth


-Mohmoo (the giant sea cow from Arlong Park) appears pulling Cariboo’s ship. Using the Sea Cow, Cariboo rams into the Sunny Thousand, and proceeds to board the vessel. But, once Mohmoo sees Luffy and the other Strawhats, the poor beasts relives its horrific and comical encounters at the hands of the Strawhats, and flees, leaving Cariboo alone on the Thousand Sunny.

-Cariboo, seeing the unfavourably circumstances, begs for his life right as Franky begins to throw him over board. While sparred, Sanji beats on him for leering at Nami.

-Explanations about how they reached the bottom. Etc. Finally, the action starts up again when the characters come across a giant waterfall (under water?). Cariboo panics, claiming a monstrous Kraken lives under the waterfall. He starts to plead for his life like a little child, until Luffy firmly puts him in his place, and decides to tame the Kraken…

-Further spoiler will be provided as more details are released…

-No spoilers next week.

Oh wow. Mohmoo made a return appearance. Probably one of the characters from the Arlong arc I least expected to do so. xD

Wonder how Caribou managed to come across him. =p

if mahmoo became cariboo's pet/slave, does that mean that cariboo disposed of Arlong?

Mohmoo, who would've expected him to appear. Guess he didn't recognize Luffy from a far or he probably would've ran. And can't wait to see the Kraken.

And already a break after we've recently had a break for four weeks, Oda is overdoing it. Especially since he doesn't has the working on Strong World excuse. Thought it was said that he started working after 2 weeks already when he was on his 4 weeks break. I've lost count on how many breaks he had this year (or the last 2 years). Fishman Island gets postponed +1 week again.

No Arlong was put in prison so Mohmoo fell in Cariboo's hands after he was freed from Arlong.

Meh, they don't make logias like they used to. Sir Crocodile would never beg for his life like that. And I thought he'd put a fight...

They are about to tame a kraken, btw!
I feared One Piece could become boring if the crew got stronger, but it just got more awesome.

Not really,from what i understand he is scared to take on all of them,but when his crew or w/e come back,he plans on attacking them,at least he was planning before the Kraken thing,let's see if he tries after that too,and it was kind of obvious from the beginning that Cariboo is here just to get owned by straw-hats.

I dont know which part you think is awesome, because for me, the story is not moving alot which is not awesome. also karibou not being thrown to the sea is disappointing

actually based on the previous chapter, his plan had always been to join them and then attack them from within. Sounds like his plan is proceeding as planned


Interestingly Oda's number of breaks per year has been on an incrementally increasing trend. Hope he doesn't go the way of Togashi.

Honestly, do we even know if Cariboo actually is a Logia?

QWhile I don't want to put forth any real opinion before the actual full spoiler is released, I do agree this chapter seems very heavy on the comedy and the explanations, but not so much on the story...

Pretty uneventful transition chapter, not much action besides explanations and comedy.

Quite intresting still because I always thought Grand Line should be special under water and it sure is, that waterfall current is pretty nasty.

He confirmed he was whenever it was that he got shot.

Anyway, chapter was kind of slow.

I'm curious to see what exactly Luffy is planning to do with the monster, since the first words out of his mouth weren't "Let's eat!"

Caribou capturing Mohmoo as a pet motivated him.

And, they did eat earlier....

Ahh~ a One Piece chapter of old, chillax and full of comedy with it relevant information.

Can't wait to see what Luffy has in store for the "little" Kraken.
