HOLY SHIT.

I just tried out HEAT ammo on my KV-1's derp gun. Oh dear god, I was owning so hard it's not even funny. Ammo costs went through the roof, but daaaaaaamn. That's one helluva round.

...I can see why people would shell out gold for these rounds. Even now, with 1000 gold, I'm tempted to join the dark side and Touma's example and piss away my money. -_-

Screw this, I'll stick to normal HE, I can make it work.

The song is titled "CAPTAiN ZOMViE," it's an arrange of Captain Murasa's theme from Touhou. I thought it was fitting due to all of the boat jokes people make about the TOG and... Well, it's one of my favorite arranges :P

as for the kv 1 on trolling duty, yeah its fun, especially if you did something similar to what ES and UTE did while I rolled derp, sometimes you just sit there and absorb shots while you derp the crap out of everyone in lower tiered games, then tier 6 is gets tricky, tier 7 games it gets you screwed. But yeah we had a blasting running kv 1 platoon me on troll duty, UTE on the 57mm ping ping gun with 189 pen (i think thats gold rounds, which is not bad pen for tier 5s and 6s mm), and ES on the usual 85er.

but derp doesn't really suite everyone, cuz every time you fire gold off it, its like flushing 3 toilets and then getting the water bill for each time you flushed all three. well i'm glad you liked it, i heard its suppose to be better after this patch.

On the bad side, my win rate in the Type 62 seems to have stabilized at 48%, which is higher than the server average, but I'd rather have it above 50%.

On the good side, had some good high-tier preliminary platooning sessions with some of the WoTForums/WoTLabs regulars, like Gavin and OOPMan. The stuff some of these guys do are simply amazing -- I watched an IS-6 surrounded by 6 other tier 8s and outfight all of them. Definitely game me stuff to think about with regards to tank handling.

Oh, and finally at 54.80 as a result. Ugh, but the numbers needed to hit 55% now is much MUCH higher.

My fooling around with the Hetzer's loadout continues; after a game where I was unable to kill a Matilda using a combination of both HE and HEAT (both side and frontal), I switched back to the much more predictable 75mm... and ended up running into a derp Hetzer face on which bounced two HEAT rounds off me while I chewed their face off.

Well that still puts you above average. Remember, the NA server average for the East cluster is 48% now, and I think West Coast has a MUCH lower one. The point where one hits 51% means you're already performing more than 90% of everyone else. The so-called Unicums? They're just 1% of the total server population.

Also, I think 51% or so is the cutoff point for those who "play for fun", and those who start playing to improve.

And regardless of what you say Touma, until WG gives out an official metric of measuring player improvement, WR is the best we have. Efficiency, TWR, WN, all of these are player-made measures, aren't official, and are all subject to the bias of whoever made the formulas behind them.
