I haven watched this ep, I wait for the subs, its no fun watching and not understanding for me

Anyhow, about that Kyon's Sister - Mukiru Theory, I like it! But they would make Kyon really really pissed if he knew, because then Haruhi would be molesting his sister! But looking at eye colour..
Spoiler for large pics:
Kyon's sister has a brown-yellow eye colour, like him. Mikuru's are more amber.. Sure it could be lighting, angle, contacts or an eye-colour-change-condition. Still despite the eye colour difference, there is remarkable resemblence.. Ahwell.

Looking forward to the subs

The eye colors are quite similar, although Mikuru has a bit more reddish/rust tinge. Sushi-Y's post has them side by side--their character designs seem to be quite similar in that.

But then again, maybe they just go to the same stylist

I think it's possible that Mikuru is Kyon's sister's daughter from the future.
It would explain the resemblance, but also allow some differing characteristics?

It is highly unlikely. I don't think that they would send someone who already existed in that time. But Mikuru being his sister's daughter, or even his daughter or granddaughter, would be a possibility.

I'm betting the butler did it.
I was thinking about a show I watched once. It was a murder mystery cruise for amatuer detectives complete with a murder for them to solve and a prize for the winner. That got dropped when there were several "real" murders for them to try and solve. When someone finally solved them it turned out that they were really the staged murders that they were supposed to solve. I can't help but think that this might be similar. A staged murder to keep Haruhi occupied.

Mikuru as some descendant and there for related somehow to Kyon? Now there's an intriguing/disturbing thought... any word from the novel-readers on this?

Oh Lord, but suppose Mikuru was Kyon's sister (just suppose), or even Kyon's sister's daughter (or something), that... daaaaaang. Well darn, there goes my pairing.

That's what I meant. His sister's daughter.

Yay, the HQ version is out. I wonder why the HQ version is always released later after the LQ version.

Hey first post!

Anyway, I can almost say without a doubt that Mikuru isn't related because... (Big spoilers from novel 1 chapter 6 (The anime isn't here yet)) (Special thanks to Baka-Tsuki for translating)

Loli in a bag has gone a bit too far... I'm finding very "naughty" versions of the scene on 2ch.
