Man, Saikawa barely survived this episode even with the limited screentime she had

. Props to her for actually managing to reign herself in even if it was only once...and didn't last since they kept on pushing her

. Honestly I'm enjoying throwing Ilulu into that whole situation since the three make for good friends. They had a good time there's no doubt there.

Nice to see Elma expressing her concern. Kobayashi is right that there isn't human sacrifice these days...but depending on one's work culture it does get pretty close. Maybe she doesn't need to express that much concern, but fair to express some of it. After all Kobayashi just took all that work onto her shoulders without ever complaining or even mentioning it. Glad that Elma can contribute and ease the burdens on her shoulders a bit.

Tohru's casual outfit was awesome. Very cute and it suited her. It is pretty funny having this chaos dragon going on patrol, but it worked. Fafnir might want to hold off on practicing dances in that location though...

I kept waiting to see the follow-on story after Fafnir was locked out of his game. I suspect that could have been quite funny, but it was apparently dropped on the cutting-room floor.

episode 4:

glad to see Ilulu being able to have an enjoyable theme park experience. She fits right in with the kids.

Georgie also made me laugh this episode. Nice to know her real name.

and Saikawa easily one of my fav character in this show. Her reactions so funny. xD

This episode has converted me into a Tohru x Elma shipper. How long did they travel together? When they met they looked like kids and when they parted they were almost fully grown. Obviously I don't know at what rate a dragon's human body ages though.

This definitely got me to really enjoy the Tohru and Elma friendship. Is pretty sweet how they met, traveled, and even how they ended up clashing. The start of it was something pretty honest really. Things were spiraling in a bad direction. Elma didn't want to act out and tried to stick with it. While Tohru responded instinctively to just smash things. Not sure either of them get the honest truth of the matter though.

Even if they grumble and act against each other...I agree that their friendship looks a lot better after this episode. Nice that Kobayashi got to hear that story.

Credit to Take. He managed to pass everyone besides Kobayashi in one episode. That's not bad considering he mostly just got embarrassed and fell onto Ilulu's chest through that part of the episode. I like Ilulu's impression and reason for working there. She likes kids and that part of her past is something that stuck with her. So if she's going to work...why not do it somewhere that kids can be smiling and having a good time? Makes sense.

I thought Ilulu was Kanna's age since she seemed to hang out and play with them often and other kids, but she just likes kids I guess.

Take and her pairing was interesting, they could be their own spinoff series by themselves

Man, I feel happy yet jealous of Ilulu getting a good place where she can still enjoy childhood while living "as an adult" after her childhood was taken away from her. Very few people are lucky enough to get that Goldilocks zone in their lives.

Interesting seeing that draconic "kiss" when they tried to use their breath weapons on
each other.

Considering that there are many factions fighting each other, and their level of
destructive power, it's a wonder that world's still in one piece.

I kinda thought the episode was going to focus on the boys but there was that very cute Kanna and Saikawa segment.

I'm surprised Takiya didn't get the idea to challenge Fafnir to a video game (it ended up being Fafnir's suggestion instead), it was the first thing that crossed my mind when Tohru mentioned strength is the only thing Fafnir acknowledges.

very fun side story episode. shouta's attempt to find her weakness could possibly excused for being a young kid but it wont fly very well when he gets older. im liking the backstories they are getting into.

Of course Elma was the airhead that goes for a swim in the river in her dragon form while forgetting to block perceptions. But it is Elma so it's not all that surprising

. Good work by Kanna there. Although I'd expect rumors to start spreading since I doubt this will be the last time she makes a mistake like that.

Fully expected the episode to mostly just be about Shouta and Lucoa. But it was nice to see all those pairs getting some screentime. And all of them had some degree of serious conversations. Be it Lucoa opening up about her fear of losing a home, Fafnir talking about humans and dragons for a bit, and even Kanna opening up a small conversation about how she and Saikawa might change. The latter wasn't as heavy since Saikawa took things completely in a positive direction. But that's alright

Lucoa can do some pretty freaky things with her body. Fafnir's doujinshi would have sold like hotcakes if he actually drew porn of her. As proof, Lucoa's cosplay photobook sold out even though it probably wasn't porn.

I did not realize that Lucoa could actually do that! This is one time I appreciate a degree of censorship and not showing everything. Just seeing her shadow warping in a horrible way like that was terrifying. That is one heck of a good friend right there... I take back half of the bad things I ever said about Lucoa.

Part of me does and doesn't feel bad for Fafnir here. If he wasn't so obsessed with that direction he'd probably sell pretty well. But of course if he did bend his vision then it wouldn't be treasure for him. So...he's kind of in a pickle there. Funny enough that first book really was a treasure...for anyone that really wanted to curse someone.

Poor Fafnir just cant sell his stuff even though he got help from Lucoa
