The female to male ratio of characters in the When They Cry series has always had a greater amount of female characters, like with Higurashi sure they had a few male supporting characters, but there was only ONE male MAIN character out of like...seven.

Umineko is a little better on that aspect I'll admit with the inclusion of George and Kanon, but they are kinda pushed out of the story in later episodes.

I guess male characters aren't just as much of a pull in anime compared to female ones, don't think they ever have been to be honest. *shrugs*

Anyway, besides stating the already obvious, I agree that Ronove is awesome. Not only cause he's the only guy who can use magic so far in the series...but because of his sexy stache.~ >=D

having read the SN, i think it happens TOO often.

not like i don't like moetrice, but seeing her in this state is rather painful, considering she's usualy like that when she's sad.

i can't help but feel bad for her.
i prefer her in trollmode.

and Ohara's awesome acting just makes it worse. i wanna hug her. :<

What's the best way to handle a shrew? Slap her, then yell at her, and she'll become sweet and moe and she'll even apologize (well, we'll see in ep 17

) It's kind of a classic method, actually. Not very PC, but who could blame that guy?

But seriously, how came she never even guessed Battler wasn't exactly charmed? I know, I know, death is just the other side of the coin and all that, but she isn't blind, she had to see how hostile he was since the very first minute. Besides, reversible death or not, she did humiliate Piece!Battler at least once. Witches can understand humiliation, can't they?
