Ollerus did not mention anything on HR at this point. So I'll just wait and see.

As for Aleister's dilemma. He couldn't manipulate the events around Imagine Breaker as well as he used to anymore. On top of that, people who is not himself is finding out the truth of Imagine Breaker, so he really lost his monopoly over the information.

So compared to Nasuverse basically touma have the blueprint of a "natural" base world, and he restore everything to that blueprint with IB.

Thats the worse outcome you can try to a master manipulator, normally and its been implied he is powerful but rather use subtlety if you corner him he would fight with everything he got.

This would support the explanation of why Imagine Breaker wouldn't affect the leyline.

However- how do we tell what magic is 'natural' or not? Gremlin seem to have figured out something about that. I wonder if Imagine Breaker 'not affecting the natural sideeffects of certain magic' still counts... Or is that a misconception by the characters as well....?

A better way to explain that would be.... it doesn't matter.
Because no one can make the call but the IB.

And IB is more like the blue print itself.

Nah, it is really the same concept as Holy Right. And IB has more functional limitation when compared to it.

Why do I have that feeling that Aleister will eventually fail to restandardize the world and Touma will return every supernatural thing back to normal -> no espers, magicians nor majins.

It might be fine for the people on the science side, but what about those Magician who had devoted their entire life to their craft? Not all of them are sociopaths and some of them can do good.

The change in political power, you don't think countries that are supported by magic would be thrown into chaos?

What about sentient supernatural creatures? Would you purge them as well?

There there, the science side might suffer a little too. Academy City would lose its purpose (unless it turns into a 100% cutting edge technology developing city that is), some young espers might contract chuunibyou after the sudden loss of their powers. Though I do agree, the magic side will be totally doomed.
