Hmm I need to fix where the gun is. I just assumed it would be okay to use the wakizashi blades as a sort of magnetic charged particle gun or something. But I retried the idea and it looks awkward.

Though I think the palm of the hand was the initial placing of the gun.

I wanted to work more on the concept of "Men are more than just violence and war....".

So I think I should focus more on more non-combat weapons....

You know...things that aren't really meant to use as weapon?

Such as pile-driver (which worked almost like a normal one) except that against something like IS.

Epic fail is expected.

Why it is still being used? Well.... the idea that it is a advanced machine and therefore the logical conclusion is that it might work on IS......

Err... Let me rephrase: (Some) Men are more than violence and war.

The concept is: Developing tools for mundane purposes (Construction, Medical purpose) until some Top Brass think it is a good idea to use them as weapons even though those Tools that aren't clearly not meant to use for fighting (The reason for Bleeding Edge and the Epic fail part).

All while the Creator was like: o_o? "Huh? WTF?" (Due various safety law being benched rather than tools being used for fighting).

The whole idea is more of while there are people developing weapons of mass destruction, there are always those few people working on awesome non-combat tool because they think would be awesome to have a plasma cutter that cut wire from far.

More Issac-y (Dead Space) (improvised power tools) than say....real guns?

The Ending is obviously going back to normal life and work on latest project of developing new Ironing machine(for some unknown reason: inspired by IS battle) to iron clothes in the most epic and ridiculous way ever (because the creator is kind of weird in that way).

Anything can be used as a weapon, you just have to be violent and stupid enough to try. If you really want to show peace, then characters need to stop looking at a brooch and imagining how to slit someone's throat with it.

After much re-thinking and watching Halo 4, I think I'm going to re-vamp the Minerva abit more and remove the ability to fly. More like it'll have thrusters for long-distance jump-jetting and also acting as reverse boosters when the Minerva is skydiving.

Then again, most real robot-types don't have the ability of sustained flight without the assistance of a flight unit...

You can just make it so that the flight unit gets damaged and the minerva has to use another packet that keeps it grounded while the flight packet needs repair.

Oh those, yeah the Minerva has those. They're known as Specialist Modules so you got it right.

Ah damn the extra-region assignment, I was sent to the southernmost beachside village which doesn't even have decent electricity, much less internet.

That aside, whether flight capable or not, speed is the key for I.S.-verse combat, notice that Canon!Laura's Panzerkanonne module (the equivalent of walking fortress) is an epic fail design, mainly because it could not use AIC somehow.

In both of my Fanon, all I.S. can fly, just that some of them are so bad at it and better not flying at all. However, that's means offensive close combat is difficult if the enemy is designed to fly.

Indeed

Never once [Schwarze Regen] ever fly (even in the novel and Manga, it only floats), and it's not much of a slouch despite the heavy frame.

And of course, the fact that it could simply drag the enemy into its melee reach...
