Hmm... Why does the premise sounds like Monster Princess?

I'm sure it's just the chainsaw.

For one, Princess Resurrection is all about royalty and how they make a pact with their servants by offering them their blood, in return for eternal servitude.

And we are missing a werewolf here.

And Monster Princess isn't really meant to be funny, fuga.

Hmm, nice catch, a bit of a far stretch but who knows, that's may be what they're aiming for especially with all the Masou shoujo/shonen stuff. Now, kissing someone under a mistletoe is easy enough, but if it's under a chainsaw, who knows....

The fact that it's a chainsaw is throwing me off

I actually thought for a minute this was Monster Princess, as I haven't read MP in ages and forgot the name of the series. I was all but convinced until the OP sequence.

I didn't expect this to be as funny as it was. I figured this would be another brainless ecchi fest, but this had a gererous helping of WTF?!

I also wasn't it expecting it to be funny. It seems like a nice "relief anime"; something to watch once you're done watching all of your serious/dramatic/action-packed shows in order to loosen up. I might stick with it. Plus, I think Haruna and the necromancer girl are cute. XP

Anyways, this show. Full of win, although I didn't need my sister to see the part where Ayumu's "fanservice" came into play. She just looked at me and went... "...I knew it" and ran off.

zombie guy + girl with chainsaw, hardly sums either show up but its easy connection to notice even if it doesnt mean anything.

Argh how many times do I edit my posts every day, I can't ever seem to get the words out right.

Hoping the punchline "Ore wa Zombie Desu" isn't used too often; that would make Ayumu reek of Touma and I'm sure that he's better than that.

Spoiler:

it really depend on definition of Touma/Ichigo clone. they way i describe it is butt-monkey hero. he is not as hot blooded as both of them.

He seems plenty, if not just as hot-blooded already during his fight with a giant lobster.

Lol I keep trying to tell people that Touma's only hotbloodied in a fight as well but to no avail. Simply put, if Ayumu gets into enough fights, I'm certain he's going to be labelled as "hotbloodied" as well no matter what his neutral setting is

well the different is touma is hotblodded passion while ayumu hot blooded awkward. (which let more to comedy instead to serious)

even thought he does sometimes become Touma.

to put it straight. Ayumu is comedy version of Touma
