Okay, after 30mins of composing myself, I think I can post my thoughts. This was definitely the best episode of 00 yet. Really powerful, awesome animation and the longest fight in the series yet (with the best climax). Lockon secures his place in the Gundam heavens as a true badass, and one hellavu fighter. - Transam mode's time limit runs out, they all get owned again.

- Dynames launches with GN-Armor and saves the day. He continues on to wipe out 2 of the 3 battleships, but just before he can kill Patrick's lovergirl, Ali destroys GN-Arms.

- Dynames escapes and chases Ali for revenge, they fight, and fight, and fight.

- Zwei releases the Fangs, but Lockon is holding his own with the GN Pistols.

- Graham's friend in the GN-X goes for Dynames from behind, and gets blown up by missiles before he can do any harm, but he distracts Lockon.

- Finally the Fangs impale him in a moment of weakness and blow the Gundam up.

- Setsuna launches out in Exia in Transam mode, rushing to save Lockon.

- Lockon survives with Haro in a Dynames with no arms or legs. He ejects to "take care of things" and promises Haro that "he'll be back".

- He connects the aiming device gun of Dynames (from the cockpit) into a floating piece of GN-Arms while standing on it, aims for Zwei and waits for it to fly at him.

- Exia is ALMOST THERE.

- They both shoot, Zwei is ripped apart, but he gets a direct shot into the piece of GN-Arms. BOOM.

- Exia is THERE, Setsuna sees Lockon, he rushes for him.

- Lockon is floating in space and sees memories of his family, then he sees the Earth, points a gun sign at it......

- GN-Arms completely blows up.

- NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO.

- The transmission on the Ptolmy is Haro going "Lockon, Lockon, Lockon, Lockon" over and over. They realized what happened. Everyone tears up. Close ups of all the pilots, all the crew, crying.

- Setsuna in Exia screams in rage.

- Credits.

- Zwei gets the upper hand and gets Dynames with the Fangs, blowing it up.

That gives way too much credit to Ali. He only got the upper hand because the Flag pilot crashed his GN-X on Lockon while he was fighting Ali.

Oh yeah, I totally forgot about that. The ending moments really got my all teared up and emotion. Couldn't think much after that. I really didn't expect them to kill Lockon, not this season, and the recent events with his eye and all. They kept making it look like Exia would be there JUST in time. It was so painful.

Edit: Edited clearer details on that part in. I'm still so sad.... T_T

Lockon is almost certainly dead. Mizushima wouldn't do a scene like that and then cop it out later by saying he's alive. I'm sure his twin will appear in Season 2 to shed more light on the Dilandu family's back story, but the Lockon we know is dead and gone. But his method of death, has immortalized him in Gundam legend history, at least that's a consolation...

That's what I was thinking. Twin Brother takes Lockon's place. Why didn't we see his twin in the flashbacks?

If that dinner scene is any indication (notice there's a Fifth plate), he is. Just that we never see him.

ah so true, he shall live in all that fan art stuff lol, the only way i see him as alive is if he pulls of a mwu of gs. but to be honest this is good for gundam, it shows that gundam pilots are human and not gods like kira lol, but that could mean that graham survives.

p.s it would be cool if graham saved him in his custom flag. if only

My take on it is that the one in the scene IS his twin. We are seeing it from his own eyes.
