Wait, wait...Episode 1 is 30 years after the events of Tsumihoboroshi-hen...right?
What happened to the rest of the cast? Side-note, the OP is addictive, especially when paired with the visuals and pacing. Superb.

but most likely, you can got your answer in the Demon's Script TIPS which is the aftermath of Tsumihoroboshi. (this is the main reason why Yakusamashi is for, since they didn't bother to animate this TIPS in season 1) The TIPS can also be used as a "translation summary", since ep1 pretty much follows it.

*Waits eagerly for sub so she can comment on episode one of new season... Opening theme already moves her as it feels different from season one already* I was eager to see, and by the sounds of what Sushi said it's going to be great with this new chapter to fill the holes from the previous season. Till I can watch it all I can do is have the opening theme on loop O.o... over and over weeeee~Desu

The opening sounds indescribably better in the actualy show than it did in the trailer. You really get more of the instrumentals and the full force of it here then with the awkard mixing in the PV. I especially like the part at the end with the mechnical sort of sound. There's a sense of urgency in the whole thing like they've got to get things right this time. It's still not as good as the first one though, but not terrible like I thought it was from the trailer.
