I agree. I'll also throw in the Fuel Rod Cannon wielded by a bunch of trigger happy Grunts. That just takes the piss.

Last night while playing through again on Legendary, I saw Kat literally kick the crap out of a White Elite. It was hilarious. Pics following soon...

I'm up to EXODUS so far on Legendary and I'm finding it brutal.

The DMR is good for taking out shields but by far the best weapon for elites is the trusty old needler.

I also found the hologram invaluable in certain section for flanking elites for a sneaky assassination.

I've just realized that I've been playing the solo campaign with the Tilt and Mythic Gold Skulls on. No wonder I couldn't get past Nightfall! Man, you won't believe how much easier Legendary is now.

However, it's a great of racking up considerable amount of cR.

Plasma Pistol and DMR > Elites.

Even Zealots lose their shields to a single over charged plasma bolt. Heck, you can't even do that with a direct plasma grenade stick!

It's under handed in my books but this is war!

Been going at it with nearly all gold skulls activated on legendary, minus iron and black eye. It's four times more brutal than when I did the same with Halo3; the grade bonus is pretty nice though.

Friendly AI Spartans can't kill Elites or anything with a shield though, even rarely during the first level when nearly all of Noble is together and you meet the first wave of elites. More often than not with certain elites I have to bait them to attack my AI invincible partner; it roughly takes 3~4 Charged Plasma hits to bring down a shield so it's pretty low window of timing unless the enemy AI decides to grenade spam. Fortunately sword elites are rare from my experience. Grenades are pretty useless at that for shielded enemies, frag grenades just seem to bounce Grunts around with the occasion of killing them.

Last check point is flying around in the falcons in that one mission where you go building to building. But I think I may have overwritten that checkpoint when I went to play co-op legendary with a few buddies.

I've completed most to date but yesterdays ONI legendary challenge was brutal ;_;

I'm doing my best to keep up with them, but finding the time is the hard part. I'll agree on the ONI Legendary one, that was just cruel.

Go into Theatre and select a film/clip you wanna use. When 'in-game', press Y to change the camera 'fly', as if you're the monitor in forge. Then just take a screenshot, upload it via fileshare, go onto Bungie.net and view your fileshare, and the screenshot is in there.

I have to download my screenshot from fileshare, then upload it to imageshack in order to post here.
