I'd most likely rage. She's why I am into Bakemonogatari in the first place lol. But somehow I feel it's unlikely in the series. Unlike his other works, this has a more "pleasant", goody feel to it. Means that unless he really turns a 180, no one is likely to die in this universe

Altho if one should die, I'd vote for Nadeko =3

Nope! One is alive, and she is the best!~~ Though I can certainly count 5+ from top of my head that died ... Hitagi would be a great loss, but that's ok. Honestly even though I don't like HUB and Neko-chan I'm still ok with them ending up with Araragi, if he does end up with anyone.

I really doubt anyone would die in this because they don't really have a reason to, except for Mayoi. I just don't see how wandering ghost being a conclusive ending.

This is just my speculation so don't quote me on this but from what I got from Nise 2, Kabuki might be about Mayoi leaving the town to find a way to pass on. She could possibly meet the senpai who will help her. It's entirely possible that Araragi might not show up at all during the novel since the first chapter of Nise 2 said that Phoenix is the last chapter to HIS story.

what if it's revealed at the end that Arararagi is not really related to the Koyomi family, and making Tsukihi and Karen legal for him =3

I wouldn't count on it since this is Nisio's "relaxed" series so he's not obligated to write more than he wants to. Although I think everyone here want more novels, we won't be able to count on anything until these two are out first. I just hope the success of the first season made him want to write more.
