Yeah thanks. I deliberately slowed my progress and grind for the ships on lower difficulty before moving on so that made it easier. I learnt my lesson last event hunting for a 2nd U-chan.

Did you at least get a second Yuu? I still have nightmares. 210 sorties, 170k fuel wasted and no Yuu. Will go back to E5 for her (and Kazagumo). As for the rest, I don't even care. Just want to finish this crap called E7 first.

Yeah I did, I think after 150 odd sorties. So not going to do that this time. But got to admit that I am tempted to have a few goes at E5....

I can't recommend the former two. Luck too low, unless you put them into the flagship position - which has a high chance of wasting their shot on some random escort.

Random note: It really irritates me that my last boss trip left two HP too much on the table. The two HP wouldn't have killed her, but at least pushed me below the two-kill barrier. 512 HP still on the gauge and Teruzuki has 255... Need an additional successful boss trip before getting into the killzone because of that.

According to a facebook post (He cleared hard..), one of the requirement to lower the boss armor is to S rank at least one time in X, Y and K... but what happen if I only got S rank at X and Y?

I have 12 with two clean kills (and one sortie with 0 damage). Although the first five trips came due to compass screw-ups, before I sufficiently weakened her by whacking X, Y, K multiple times.

Why are you bringing Akitsushima when you already got CAV + 2DD for branching anyway? Swap her out for someone who is actually useful.

Is there any info on whether or how we will be able to aquire those replenishments later on? Thats pretty much the only noteworthy thing on medium too.

I haven't even started on the event - still attempting to get a bit more resource in and actually getting those planes to the double-chevron level. Seems a nightmare though.

I lost count to the number of runs I did for every maps due to streaming and stress, but it was really too much of a nightmare.
Twitch video for the last "last dance" runs. Kill run start at 50:20.

This map really is the embodiement of everything wrong in Kancolle game design, dictacting some major artificial difficulty, more than AL/MI E6.

I'm still not done with the event as I went through all maps in hard mode, thanks to a misplaced pride of mine I guess. That said, I don't really care that much for Mizuho, Umikaze or kazegumo, so I can wait. At least, I got a second Yuu during my E-5 kill run.

Cleared E-4 Medium. 15 runs needed. I started by going north but different from easy it was often resulting in retreats so decided to go heavy through the night nodes and end up retreating less than north. S'd the boss 5 times but again no Umikaze... After I finish the event I may come back to try farming her on medium.

Fleet for north path:
Hatsushimo K2 Lv 77, Yuudachi K2 Lv 83, Choukai K2 Lv 81, Haruna K2 Lv 94, Kongou K2 Lv 118, Hiyou K Lv 78

For yasen path:
Haruna K2 Lv 94, Kongou K2 Lv 118, Hiei K2 Lv 80, Tone K2 Lv 71, Choukai K2 Lv 81, Akagi K Lv 80

I can say this got to be the most costly map for me (225 buckets gone, 20k fuel and steel, 6k bauxite, and 10k ammo, and this is "easy" mode)… Had to use Hotel for the final kill… even so, it took me quite a while to finally clear it.

If they follow the same way like this event (Not the difficulty.) for Fall 2015, you may find them (I guess.). Not into Kazegumo, but I will find Umikaze when I finish my break.

E4 Easy done. Started off with Normal but switched to Easy for easier farming later on.

Fleet composition is: Kongou, Haruna, Haguro, Pudding, Yuudachi and Ayanami. Last boss kill goes to Oba-sama =3. Drops were unimpressive as usual, except for a Yukikaze and Asashimo (one of my targets for this map) =3

#@$$^ Been stuck on E 3 hard for two days ... can't sink the damned boss wasted over 18k fuel 23k ammo 20k steel 20k bauxite 150 buckets

I am at wits end on how to clear e 3 hard the boss always taiha Kitakami or Ooi at the last slot or worst at the pre boss node

any good composition i could try ??

I am using Carrier task force 2 bb 2 cv 2 cvl

2nd fleet 1 cl 2 dd 2 ca 1 CLT
