Ummmmm....Did you guys not reading the translation of chapter 270? Because if you did, the zone in the zone is not SSJ2. It is something very similar with current Akashi but not same.

i dont read translation but its probably just normal power of nakama asspull

It's been a while since we've had a chapter with this much action.

Just saw the chapter.

In a normal game, if you're down 7 with at most 2 possessions left, you have to go coast-to-coast with quick baskets, immediately foul your opponent to stop the clock, hope they miss at least one free throw, get the rebound, rinse and repeat.

In this case, I think it's far more likely that Seirin will take quick shots and then run a full court press to pressure the inbounder into a 5-second inbounding violation, because nobody wants to read a repetition of scoring and fouling.

It should go along the lines of:
- Seirin scores a 3 to cut the lead to 4.
- Seirin pressures the inbounder and manages to get the ball back, scores another 3 to cut the lead to 1.
- Seirin manages to get a stop and Kagami/Kuroko scores the winning basket OR they make one of two free throws and the game goes into overtime.

Yeah, it was surprising when Izuki and Kuroko went for the foul last chapter. We haven't seen Seirin purposefully foul anyone to interrupt play all series, which is surprising as it's something that always happens late-game when there's a foul to give. But you're right, we're probably going to see steal attempts and turnovers, rather than them trying to stop the clock with fouling.

Problem with the strategy is that now, they've got Akashi switching personalities mid-play.

In the end, it'll boil down to nakama-power.

These past two chapters have been intense.

Looks like we were right about the fouling situation, but that still didn't stop me from internally screaming, "SOMEONE %$#@ING FOUL 'EM ALREADY!!!!" in that last play.

There's only eight seconds left. Seirin needs a four-point play. Or at the very least some type of foul against them. Otherwise, Fujimaki has to have them foul Rakuzan after the next basket. There's no way Rakuzan's going to turn the ball over during the in-bound... right?

On another note, talking about turning the zone on and off was ridiculous. You've got to be really good at whatever it is you're doing to do that, and any attempt is more likely to fail than not...

My guess is Seirin will make a 3-point shot, foul whoever Rakuzan in-bounds the ball to.
Unless it's Akashi, I can see the other 4 missing 1 out of two FT.
Seirin then will attempt a crazy 3-point shot to win this.
Alternatively, the other 4 miss both and we'll see Akashi posterized again by Kagami and Seirin wins by 1.

In real life, if you're down by four with possession and 8 seconds left, you'd have to shoot a 3 and then foul.

In this story, I still think it'll be a 3 then a full court press to force an inbounding violation. If Rakuzan successfully gets the ball inbounds, then the game is over because there won't be a backcourt violation with less than 7 seconds left, assuming that the ball takes one second to travel to the hoop during Seirin's 3 point shot.

If there's more than 7 seconds remaining, then Seirin can go for a steal while the ball is being brought up the court or force a backcourt violation, thus setting the scene for Lillard Kagami/Kuroko to hit a game-winning shot with 0.9s left.
