Something like Shakugan no Shana, earthsea, legend of the seeker
I prefer male lead, and i really dont like when male is a wimp or something like that.
That are the only conditions.

KIBA is about shard casters and summoners, revolves around Zed, who holds one of the 6 key summons. Very interesting story with strong characters
I also remembered O-parts hunter (manga, also known as 666 satan), a manga about people with the ability to use special items. Although it doesn't involve magic in the modern sense of manga, he does learn how to use his parts and gets various upgrades through the story.

watched kiba i mixed it up with wolfs rain, watched index, i watched negima i want to read it but main is wimpy. Will read O-parts, 666 satan, and Mx0.

O-parts hunter is the second name of 666 Satan. I finished reading Mx0 in a day, it was a very pleasant read but unfortunately got cancelled, so the ending is patchwork and abrupt...still worth it.

They fall under suggestions, so this is where they belong...unfortunately I'm only watching Supernatural when it comes to TV, but it's not for weak stomachs.

BTW negima gets a lot better in the manga (he ranks up there almost with Simon from ttgl for turn around wimp -> amazing main character that I like). Takes a long time though I think the story in general turned from what I remember it was being harem/romance orientated into battle/story orientated.
