By the looks of it, it seems like they're going for reset ending with Alcor backup. I feel like that this anime, if they're going to do reset end, can serve as prequel for the game. So it's like anime (where everyone dies) -> game (where only 3 people dies) -> game (no one dies) -> break record.

As I said before, in the games he was subdued by Fumi throwing laptops at him. Then you see him play his tune at Benetnasch and just leave.

And in the games, Black Frost never fought Benetnasch. Alcor summons it as a unlockable boss fight shortly before you fight him in his true form, assuming you beat Botis and Bifrons earlier.

Demons have been punched to death by human. So Unlimited Laptop Works must hurt too.
Trumpeter was more intimidated by Fumi's actions, based on his comments in various routes. Even Yamato's death threats didn't faze him.

By the way, I didn't ask "if there is precedence for him for being that weak".

I was answering shmaster, not you.

Either way, Trumpeter never actually participated in combat during story cutscenes so there is really nothing showing that he is strong either, unlike Lugh who shoots a gigantic bolt of energy down into the ground, Shiva who shoots Alioth down in one shot, and Bifrons who nearly killed Otome along with a squad of JPs members.
