I wonder if anyone reading this actually doesn't know that though. Not saying they all finished the games, but everyone should know at least the bare minimum details I would think. People have more spoilers in their sigs and icons if you want to get that picky about it.

Basically a newbie to the title won't know a damn thing even if you "spoiler" them in some cases. They may have the spoiler content but they don't know what it means for the time being or until when they actually get to the spoiler in question through the anime. That is usually the case for harmless spoilers of little significance until when we get there (like the existance of "Stakes", whatever that means

).

But for all purposes sakes it would be a good idea to have two threads when the subforum comes

Having only played the first and read the meager summaries on wikipedia, the whole spoiler thing nowadays, doesn't ruin it for half the viewers.

More and more people are becoming able to learn spoilers for anime/games/movies and more and still go out and enjoy it.

And like someone else said, some users won't even understand the spoilers.

Still, finally took a look at the sketch art and 'wow', it's a lot better than the initial art that was shown recently. I especially love how the 4 cousins were handled and of course, the adults are also very detailed and 'realistic' in appearance.

That being said, on the note of the aforementioned spoilers, is there anyone who could recommend a good link/source/anything to get maybe some questions answered? Or maybe someone wrote up an FAQ for the games?

I just wanna get to know more about the series.

Yes, it is much easier, but if the story is way too confusing as it is, I can only imagine the probably rushed adaptation... xD

As far as I know there are no plans for an Umineko live action movie. Maybe you are mixing up the Higurashi live action movies and the Umineko anime series?

This thead is about the upcoming anime adaptation of Umineko no Naku Koro ni which is the spiritual successor of Higurashi.

the staff mentioned they want to have it out for the summer season. Still not confirmed, though it means that it will be summer or at worse fall.
