Seems like almost every fight since the SS arc has been a rehashed version of a previous fight. I agree that the Ichigo vs Byakuya fight was the best in fight drawn to date. Arguably one of the best manga fights written. The whole SS arc was just so interesting and intense in comparison to what we're going through now, and this fight was one of the most memorable climaxes.

That was some pretty creative writing on KT's part, lets hope we see some clever situations like that in the current arc.

New thread is needed with Arrancar and Hueco Mundo arc fights, although I don't think all of them would fit in poll thread. Anyway, to this date, I have couple of favorite fights with other characters, but Ichigo VS Byakuya is still my favorite.

I must be getting old. I don't see the creativity in that fight at all, KT made a character, who could have instantly killed the other, get defeated by making him talk too much.

Why is Ichigo/Rukia's fight with the Grand Fisher on here? Who cares about that fight.

It would have been much better if they actually fought on-screen. If I don't see Ukitake and Shunsui getting a real fight in the future, sadly, that one will stay as ''would be'' best fight.

My favourite fight has to be the 3rd Ichigo vs Grimmjow fight, even thought the ending was really, really lame.

1st Ichigo vs Ulquorra fight comes second.
1st Ichigo vs Grimmjow fight comes third.

My two top favorite anime fights:

Byakuya vs Ichigo - Not only did Ichigo kick ass and look good doing it, but this fight had some important character development for Byakuya. The look on his face when Ichigo said he'd fight the law... it said everything.

Soi Fong vs Yoruichi - I've always been a fan of hand-to-hand fights, and it was so charged with emotion. When Soi broke down and cried at the end... I have to say that's one time I liked an anime fight more than a manga fight, when they added the addition of Yoruichi saying "You've grown strong, Soi Fong."

Someone made a mistake and gave me rep down saying that ''this is anime thread, not manga.'' for post above. I have no idea what he wanted to say with that.

In case you didn't see it pal, you fail as I was saying that new threads should be opened with other arc fight and in the end I STILL stated that among anime fights, Byakuya VS Ichigo is best.

Anyway, I forgot about Soifon VS Yoruichi fight, that one was the closest we could get in hand to hand battle =)
