Two volumes could be OVA or it could be a short series. 12 episodes or so to give them something to do for Winter 2013 instead of their usual wait for Spring.
Since Winter plays heavily in two certain series next viable chapters.....

With informton about Little Buster being "leaked", there is speculation about when it will come out. Usually a April announcement would mean Fall, but what if this show (Chuni-byo Demo Koi Shitai!) comes out as a single cour show in Fall?
Would that push Little Busters (only if produced by KyoAni) back to Winter, and set it up as a three-four coure anime from Winter-Fall/Winter the following year? If it isn't broken up into smaller pieces like Clannad or Fate/Zero were. Though seeing the artwork and animation for Hyou-ka, I am very curious as to what KyoAni will do with this show with a girl suffering form (thinking she is a magical girl), something or other, and Romance/Comedy. More in the Haruhi style rather than the Key style.

I dunno it just sounds like they plucked some semi-related, cool sounding, impactful words out of the dictionary only to randomly string them together. I'm sure it sounds a lot cooler to those well versed in Engrish though lol

We have key visual and an anime website! Looks like a Fall premier is likely.
http://www.anime-chu-2.com/ No Kadokawa funding for this one, so we'll likely be getting K-On! budget quality.

Thanks to Yaraon/2ch, we have more details. Chuunibyou will be a TV series. The supervisor will be Tatsuya Ishihara, the supervisor of the Key works and the Haruhi series. Series composition will be done by Jukki Hanada, who composed the Nichijou and Steins;Gate anime adaptations last spring. Chief Animation Director/Character Designs: Kazumi Ikeda, the Chief character designer/animation director for the Key works and animation director for shows like Haruhi. Background art, as always, is supervised by Mutsuo Shinohara. My guess: we'll see this on the air in Fall 2012.

Now that magazine spread is more like it. Those character design in the magazine spread very much reminds me of Clannad, especially that male lead. This also explains Ishihara's absence in Hyouka as he's been working on this. Jukki Harada is also experienced, having written on Nichijou and some of the best K-On!! episodes. Can't wait.
P.S. I also find it funny that Ishihara and Kazumi Ikeda are the staff that worked on the previous Key anime series. And it seems likely this could be airing in the same season as J.C. Staff's Little Busters.

There's two light novels (thus far) and I've read the first one. I'm reading the second one right now and I can see how they'll transition from the first to the second one easily.
I feel that, while very enjoyable, the novels are not well-written at all. The first one had big pacing issues and other problems. That being said, I can easily see how the anime could overcome them and highlight the strength: the interactions between the characters. I'm very excited to see these characters animated and how they'll work over the problems. Edit: I should clarify: the actual writing style is my biggest issue. The plot itself is interesting (to me at least), but there's moments where you go "why did this suddenly come up?" without explanation. I think those moments can get smoothed over in the anime.
