Also researched the comet recently too but its a similar story with it.
The Black Prince has a 20 pounder, better armor, AND better acceleration due to its final engine. It's not nimble, but hey it's a Churchill, it's not supposed to be.

As for the Comet, I HATED it at start, and at one point had a 33% win rate on it (now sitting at a comfortable 53%-ish). You're undergunned even with the final gun, and your armor is paper-thin for the tier and unsloped. However you're very agile (not quite like the Cromwell, but still enough to run circles around heavies in a pinch), and you have excellent gun depression, so use those slopes and those hills!

Probably the best company game [MUP] has had thus far. Splitting up into three groups, we advanced while simultaneously defending the base against a numerically and technically superior force. The Hellcats, as can be seen, served dynamically in both a scouting and base defense role.

Spoiler for what things looked like at the moment of victory:

TBH we won because leo and sera manage to defend the base from 6 1S before the hellcats reinforcement come

According to the stats on the WoT tankapedia its only got a 17 pounder thats just a little better than the churchill VII's 77mm and the armour value is almost exactly the same as the churchill VII's (front-152 sides-95 rear-50 vs front-152 sides-95 rear-25)

=S

Whoops, I must have mixed it up with the 20-pounder that the Caernavon gets. Still, the 17-pounder is okay for its tier, as its accurate and has a good rate of fire. The penetration is lacking though, admittedly.

while they might have been numerically and technically superior, they were statistically inferior in win rate and probably skill as well.

the 17pdr have much more pen, and while the listed armor of Black Prince not much better than Churchill VII, the actual armor is much better, Churchill VII only have 152mm armor in a small part of the front while Black Prince have 152mm all over the front.

I hope Tak doesn't decide to post it on June 4th.

also that tank company was all me, JK, although idk why ppl worry so much when i'm playin the hellcat or michael jackson tank that can't moon walk.

i'm not at 54% WR for nothing.

I was dying when leo said we need more players like me, if that happened I think every would have been unicum before i even started playin WoT.

I'm more worried that he didn't get the right angle.

I think that you have really good fine control over your tank. I have lost a lot of battles because of very small, fast-paced tactical errors. It's frustrating.

Part of my motivation was to draw attention away from the fact that we had lost almost every single battle since we started about two hours earlier. The commander must not only command but keep morale high.

Sshh! You'll make our victory look too easy!

The hellcats were very important. They each got 1 kill and thus saved both of us and the base.

Hmmm.... Tier 6? Maybe I should try to keep a permanent tank for that.

Do get one. We were chronically understaffed.

Tier 5 can work too.

StuG III, T-25, VK 36.01 (H), VK 30.01 (P).

Take your pick. Former two are always on standby, latter two I can buy.

VK3601H seems to work well; they have tough armor that requires even a KV1S to waste time aiming for weak points.

If you don't have/ don't want to spend the cash, the StuG is a good choice as a cheap defense vehicle. T-25 will get eaten by almost anything.

I have the cash, it's just that I'll have to buy a garage slot (which I hate doing). Maybe I'll just stick with the StuG III/StuH 42 or T-25.

E-100 researched! Now all I need is the money to buy it..

That said, I think I'm down like 5-6 net games over the last 2 days. Statistically .. it's impossible for so many of the nublets to be on my team.. they should be evenly distributed .. right?
