Animes From RPG Games

To Heart, To Heart~remember my memories, To Heart 2 - based from dating game by aquaplus
Utawarerumono - currently ongoing, also an Aquaplus creation.
Higurashi no Naku Koroni - based from a murder mystery computer game
.Hack/Root - currently ongoing

Xenosaga was okay. It summed up the plot of the game nicely, but to be honest the game looked better.

I liked the Final Fantasy VII: Last Order OVA. More than Advent Children. However, unlike Advent Children, Last Order is not an original story and is just a retelling of one of the game's subplots. It's still very well done IMHO.

There is anime for Tales of Phantasia and Eternia but since I never played those games I never got interested in the anime.

The absolute best adaptation of JRPG to an anime is "Arc The Lad". Everything else doesnt even come close.

It's not based on a real console RPG, but Mahoujin Guru Guru is a fairly funny show that makes fun of them in general, set in a generic RPG-ish world.

...well, they made a game based on the show, of course. But that's not the same.

Tales of Eternia is an alright anime, it would have been alot better without the fillers episodes >>;

& Tales of Phantasia is a wicked anime =D Unfortuantly i'm not too sure whether they've finished it yet or not. I know there's 4 OVAs out, but i'm sure it didn't end.

Ohh, and there's a Tales of Symphonia anime coming out, but that won't be for a while =P

Tales of Phantasia is really great. I played the game because I watched the anime(and the game disappointed me--the anime is 10 times better than the game)

However episode 4 is missing for me...so i didn't see the ending...
