Screw that, she's Aizen.
Aizen to Ichigo: "What made you think that you weren't under my hypnosis?"

Hell YES!! The Bad-ass is back(even if temporarily). This hollow is, without a doubt, the best looking character in Bleach.

Kubo trying to tie up loose ends is certainly a breath of fresh air.

I am a little disappointed though that Isshin was "just" the 10th division captain.
Kyoraku mentioned in the BTTP arc that the 10th division captain has recently died, so he wasn't even a captain when Shinji and the other now-Vaizards were. So Isshin was even a lower ranked shinigami at that time.

I was convinced that he must have belonged to the Zero Squad... what not that he was the ONLY shinigami besides Yamamoto to even be a disturbance to Aizen, if not even stronger.

me too. i dont think him being an ordinary captain makes any sense. his close ties to current young shinigami makes no sense either. i think kubo either didnt think it through or was just trying to surprise us regardless of logic

I realize Kubo did a terrible job at conveying it at the time (since Aizen was quick to shrug off all the damage he took while looking composed and never looking fatigued), but its still possible that he expended a considerable amount of energy taking on all those VC's and Captains while sustaining damage from Shinji, Ichigo, and Yamamoto's attacks.

What this means is that Isshin may have had a noticeable advantage at the time.

Soooo.... where are the German fans here in Animesuki.

Give us that detail on Kubo's inconsiderate comments, looks like he's on a roll with douche comments over there today.

Come on, I know we have to have some here, spill the beans!

I agree. Even though there was more to that attack than just raw brute strength, I don't think it was a good move for Kubo to have Isshin connect with an attack like that given how the rest of the battle appeared to be an even match-up for what little we saw of it. It sent such a mixed message.

IMO, if you're gonna have one guy start a fight by pwning the other guy with a finger flick, the guy doing the finger flicking should clearly be shown dominating from start to finish. But that's just me.

What did he say?!

As much as I hate Kubo's writing anymore, I always got the impression that he seems to be a nice guy in real life.

kubo did a interview recently and the best part of the interview.

Quote:
Jo Kaps: "Well, that means we will also know in the forseeable future. Why is Aizen still alive?"

Kubo: "He is still necessary for the story."

It turns out that the King as we saw him is just a mask, which will break and reveal Aizen... just as planned...

Looks like there is no sign of a chapter this week.

Also,

The best part of the interview for me was him confirming Gin is dead.

He also mentions how he doesn't draw backgrounds usually and leaves them to his assistants. No surprise there.

I love how he used the phrase "the heart." It's used in most Bleach memes.
