I, My, Me, Strawberry Eggs - you can make a sequel for it, but the way it is, i think it ends.

the initial Macross series ends too, even though it has prequels and sequels, the initial story felt very conclusive to me.

That one would be near the top if I listed series that left you hanging (ie: did not end)

Along with Berserk, Victorian Romance Emma, Kare Kano, Hellsing, Inuyasha, Shaman King, etc, etc

was gone for a few days.

Spoiler for Strawberry Eggs Ending:

Kare Kano is unfinished, so that's hard to consider for either category, it's not the way it is by choice. from what i was told the manga does end, Trinity Blood seems to be in the same exact situation.

manga is usually better if you like "defenite" endings.

Yeah, haha, if the authors/scanslators/lisncensers decide to finish the series hehehe, for it always seems to happen otherwise :/

I'd say there are different kinds of "ends" that happen. One type is where all answers pertininent to the story is answered. Another is how a romance unfolds into the end. Then there is also conclusion where story can no longer progress maybe because of deaths or other factors. Any particular one you're looking for?

Oh dear, I am not really sure if you are asking me or some of the members posting above.

If you are indeed asking me, I'll say any of the ones you are mentioning here (or a mix of them). Then again, like I said earlier, as long as it has a nice and satisfying conclusion I am all for it.

But as you can see from the posts in this thread, the very concept of an 'ending' can vary greatly from one person to another. Guess I'll just try to check as many suggestions as possible and decide for myself in the 'end'.
