I'm pretty tempted to 'freeze' my knowledge of IS and just work from there (future illustrations notwithstanding) since there's almost too much to cover. Since my forte is with the interpersonal and intrapersonal relationships, I do have a fair bit to cover. (Un)Fortunately, I'm pretty stuck on Chifuyu for now but we'll see how things go.

I think because the girls don't really have very distinctive personality (*cough*archetypal personality) to work with. I blame their limited interaction. The whole series only show their interaction with Ichika only. With Ichika around, most of them show only limited personality. We seldom/never get tiny glimpse of their personality when not swooning after Ichika. Is it any wonder why it is hard to work on personal relationship?

@ Setsuna - Nah, I'm just worried about the reaction. One time I got a PM that had the word "How do you think Charlotte would feel about this?". No joke, I stared at that PM for five straight minutes before deleting it and didn't bother answering back. Some readers can get stupidly invested.
I just don't want another PM about how a certain character "feels" about it. @ Senpai - What manga was that from? Looked extremely familiar.

Eh, at least I'm on the other side when it comes to harem end, as in frowning against it
It's not something done to end a serious relationship plot, really. Ping-sama and Meister Babylon would explain this matter better. So yeah, I think wincest end is more likely than harem end.

Pray for Wincest.
And it's not that I dislike the girls in (virtually) any way, but I just can't see anything with them. Ichika's going to be the only one to reach Chifuyu's level and the two of them will save the world from the alien invaders by detonating their Cores together... ...#_# Okay, so that would be the BAD Wincest end... They are brother and sister but at the same time, they are not - siblings based on a technicality, similar to being half-siblings (Hey, our parents married each other, isn't that great). This is the vibe I get from them.

The incest vibe is there, just that it wasn't exactly set on stone.
At the start of the story, Ichika and Chifuyu is effectively life partners and pretty much interdependent. Gradually, Ichika met more girls and unintentionally distance himself away as he learn to stand on his own feet. Chifuyu is afraid of losing Ichika, because she's hardly have anyone else to lean on, whereas Ichika WILL surely get one himself even if Chifuyu wasn't there. Of course, it was pretty much forgotten in the next volume...

Mou, don't be so rude.
In case of Yoshi, should introduce him veeeeery early..... if you want anything resembles relationship development that is. I suggest it's before torunament, lots of free time there, amirite? I also suggest less focus on Iori, you got at least one reader misunderstood. |

Man, the chapter after the next one is not going to be safe for minors>.> Didn't know kids could be so vitriolic against one another.
Then again, I've seen kids stab each others eyes out in reality, so maybe it isn't that far-fetched.

Again, age factors into things. A teenager or adult killing like that is seen as horrific but understandable, but a child doing it is seen as warped beyond imagining.
And I know that saying. I've watched the Walking Dead and this shows a lot.
