I'm not really quite sure which is my favorite because most of them I generally liked.
Though, I would have to say I did not fully enjoy SEED/SEED DESTINY. At first it was like "Oh, thats cool! It is not like the opposing side has never tried to steal the others new mechca (Gundam)!". It wasn't too bad at first, but it suddenly just got real lame. I watched DESTINY out of bordem and the only good thing that came out of that entire series was that Shin got owned by Kira. |

my vote goes to wing...
first of all I loved the story.. and the characters, not to mention it had the best opening (of those shows I've seen so far) and the biggest reason of all.. it was what got my attention to anime in general and why I actually watched the show back then when it was shown on TV.. cause well.. when you turn on TV.. and want to watch cartoons (I expected a kids show ^^) .. you don't expect people to get vaporized by energy beams.. *chuckles* |

My Favorite Was Gundam Wing.
It was the first Gundam I ever watched but so far the only one that I can watch over and over and never get tired of it following closely with G Gundam, but Gundam 00 is not far from tying with Gundam Wing SEED/Destiny made me bleed after the first few episodes with the only good parts being a w**** manipulating the protagonist (lol Flay I lol'd when you died) and Shin pwning Jesus Yamato (too bad you got owned later when you went emo). |

For story, I really like 08th MS Team. The second to last episode kept me to the edge of my seat. I'll ignore the last episode for obvious reasons.
Seed is my favorite for a TV broadcasted Gundam series, regardless of its flaws. It would've been Gundam Wing for me, but there were too many episodes that seemed filler-like. |

For me it has to be Gundam Seed , I know that gundam purist don't like to here it but without it I never would have got involved in gundam at all. I did watch gundam wing first but it didn't really do it for me it was to political for me at the time. My second favorite has to be the most under rated gundam series and that is Gundam X.

Vote goes to Other and 00. Watched almost all of Tomino's works as well as the original series of late. Even though most of them were quite good, 00 will get my vote as it's unparalleled on many levels. Storytelling, characters and character development, world presentation and it's constant changing nature, politics and it's realism and most of all, depth. I'd take 'Char's Counterattack' as the best Gundam before 00.
EDIT. 0080 and 0083 as well as 8th MS Team. Forgot to mention those. It's a hard tie with 'Char's Counterattack'. Those series provided unique insight on different kinds of war. They have their own unique universe in which they shine.

Turn A, definitely the most beautiful Gundam series I've ever seen. One of the most satisfying endings ever, (Z Gundam's ending was great too, but it was a great cliff hanger, not a great ending).
Turn A is beautiful not just as a Gundam anime, but as art and entertainment itself. Then 0080 and 00 tied for second place. Too bad we're not including the mangas or I'd vote for Gundam the Origin and Ecole du Ciel (i hated that at first, but it proved me wrong). |

If you take the Gundam-Fight premise on the 2nd degree, what remains are a beautiful story with some big plot twists, and epic characters that makes an enjoyable show. On a similar vein Turn A Gundam is my favorite serie. Similarly it feels a little weird as it was meant as a conclusion of the Gundam franchise, but the serie itself is a true piece of art.

I found the design for the titular Turn A Gundam to be extremely strange. But then I saw a model line-up of Gundam, Gundam MkII, Victory Gundam, and Turn A Gundam, and suddenly, the design made sense to me.
