Very fitting for Zoro to use that sword to slay a dragon. Nice little nod to the past.

Luckily in terms of One Piece filler, I've forgotten about 90% of it

This episode was amazing for 2 reasons.

1. Zoro slaying a dragon with THAT sword ^^
2. Luffy huffing at the dragon for hitting him, was like a child who had his fav toy taken away from him .

How the hell doe's gas effect brook I mean he doesn't have a nose or a nerve system???

Another fun episode. So one side is super hot, while the other side is super cold. It seems so much like Akainu and Aokiji, like their essence is here. It looks like an experimental island by the marines, so I wonder if they did experiments on those guys to enhance their powers or create the island the way it is as a new weapon?

Also, we've heard so much about Vegapunk as the top navy scientist. I wonder if that gas mad scientist is Vegapunk, or if maybe an assistant of his?

Also, I'm guessing the samurai they are talking about might be the guy that is in pieces, since we've only seen parts of him. His upper body could be doing the slicing.

As for which Warlord he could be referring to, the ones that slice are Doflamingo and Mihawk. I don't think it is Mihawk, although as a samurai, he might want to fight him. It is more likely Doflamingo, since he is quite the bastard.

You're forgetting that while the samurai is cut he is still alive. We have already seen someone in the past who can cut people and they still live even with their head cut off. Also a couple of spots for Warlord were left open after Marinford.
Love how they have the VA who voices Mayuri from Bleach as the voice of yet another mad scientist...though he did the voice for yet another mad scientist in the Strong World movie. It was like he was born to do such roles!

I thought the mad scientist did something to the guy in order for him to be cut without dying. Yes, Trafalger Law has the ability to slice people while keeping the parts alive. I did think of him, but the fact that the guy kept mentioning Warlords made me exclude him. Also, I don't think he would join the marines or get caught. If he did get caught, Dr. Vegapunk could do what he did with Kuma and try to replicate his skill.

As for Warlord spots, I never did think about that. I'm not sure who would be put in.

That Punk Hazard really is full of weird things.
Luffy is one crazy guy, but so is this island.
They really did barbecue and eat that dragon LOL
The lower half only man was pretty ridiculous as well.
The rest of the crew got kidnapped and trapped.
Looks like they found some pieces of their own.
This was one crazy episode, but the new characters are interesting.

One Piece usually keeps its opening for many seasons, sometimes even over a year before they change the intro. They used to change the ending every season or so, but since the dropped the endings, they haven't made many changes at all.

Well the cut up Samurai does instantly make you think of Trafalger Law. He certainly could be involved in all this somehow. Though at the same time I thought that somehow Buggy's Devil Fruit got copied

. Though since that's not possible will fall back on the Trafalger Law option.

Certainly seems like they have run into another mad scientist type. Kind of makes me think back to the incident with Moria. Just instead of zombies are getting these weird chimera people.

Things are getting fairly interesting.

I make Chooper's face every time Franky does that as well, he's so awesome. Figures this is the island where Aokiji and Akainu fought it out. Though i wonder who the mad scientist is if he hates Vegapunk, maybe he was created by the failed experiment.

This time he was especially useful.
Each of the groups had their own adventures.
Just on the opposites sides of the island.
There are some weird things happening on that island.

I like that you could still see Chopper's starry eyes through the smoke

I originally guessed the island was Vegapunk related - maybe'd they finally catch up with him, it is Punk hazard afterall - but its more of an indirect tie.
