The animation in this episode was rather bad. Pacing also took a hit in my opinion. I'll need the subs to confirm but it followed the novel pretty cleanly. Only parts I did not like was the moments with Cecilia, Rin, Char and Laura.

It's just to prove more of the Y-disease symptoms. I wish that Honne was present more longer.

@preview: OH, I can't wait!!!! Are they going to bring the enemies from LN7 or are they going to bring in Phantom Task again? Can't wait. Because I could tell next ep is going to be the BOMB (or at least the ep after it).

Spoiler for Episode 8:

Not as good as the previous one, but it was decently written. Ichika is a little less dense this season, I would like it more if he might enjoy looking at the girls without freaking by them naked. He doesn't mind Kanzashi, I'm sure he would handle a relationship with a shy girl who's isolated from her older sister. Their relationship is only starting but they sure do spend a lot of time by looking with their eyes. When Tatenashi is with Houki, they reminisce on how much they are separated from sisters, that's what they think during their shower time. The other girls are very irrelevant lately, they could have expanded a little more for next time. Too bad the last scene where Kanzashi sees Ichika going with Tatenashi implies that not only she thinks Ichika is dating with another girl, but is very jealous of her older sister herself. Kanzashi is really good at data procressing even when she's piloting IS, that demonstrates her own skills a lot. For the next episode, they sure might explain her reason for being separated with her sister.

You know what, I think it's crystal clear that Ichika and Kanzashi fit so well together in the anime.

not so much in the original LN, and Houki probably will win, but still... this is an improvement.

9/10 for clarity, even if the pacing is almost random.

well Kanzashi is the first "normal" girl which makes her look fitting to ichika.... if any other girl got emberessed she would punch the hell out of ichika with their IS guntlets... while here Kanzashi just runs away or turns aroud full red (normal girl reaction)

at the end I guess kanzashi might have throught that her perfect sister allways gets what "kanzashi" wants... now it looks like tatenashi has stolen ichika when she started to get along with him.... and yes the last scene was sad it gave the viewer the need of pat that girl

personaly I wonder how will kanzashi fight others in her IS... I mean she doesnt have IS guntlets to attack or block attacks... so no weapon shooting like Char or cecilia... nor any meele weapons... her IS looks more like a "tower" that stands and shoots from distance while beign operated by keyboard.... anyway we will see in next ep or one after that.

I noticed that too... It was a present time Houki vs younger Chifuyu. That...is confusing.

In other news, I must say Episode 8 has altered my view of Tabane by quite a bit. It almost appears that she was 'coerced' onto the whatever project those 'MIB' were representing and it went from there. I think I can write a fic about that...

- Really Ichika? You needed Tatenashi to tell you how Chifuyu displays her 'love'? And yes Ichika, those girls are so 'nervous' they throw angry auras at you whenever you so much as mention another girl.

- MEDIC!!! Laura's voice sounded so cute!

- MOAR HONNE~!!!! Sleepy-tan is da bestest!!

- Ichika's AXE aura strikes again! Getting Kanzashi within a week and then breaking her in as many seconds. Such a playboy~

- XTRA: It really is a toss up between Ichika and Natsuru as to who is the densest material known to man. ...or are they a match made in heaven?

Nice little episode, refreshing to see some kind of development after the first half of the season. But Ichika really managed to get himself in a terrible situation. Rin and Cecilia will probably try to tear him apart while laughing hysterically like psychopaths, Laura will go on a rampage against him, while Charl will give him the usual Charl-smile while pointing a gun in his face. The only person he can expect to fight rather normally is probably Houki.
