Well, here are some of the new Letters...Kha can use these as opposition for...well, Kha, if he so wishes, although I don't know how they'll be integrated into the piece.

Biography:


N is the fourteenth of the Letters, and the one who is most proficient in the usage of dual firearms. He is paired with Quattordici in battle, and the pair are known to be two of the members of both groups that work the best together.

In terms of his attitude, he is a Letter who frequently sticks to the plot of the tasks he undertakes. He and his sister accomplish their duties well because of this trait, something that they have seemed to have inherited from senior members. N has even stated that he has followed the senior Numbers and Letters, holding them as examples of the team. That doesn't, however, limit his vacuous sense of humor, something that often irritates the more short-fused ones.

His IS, Sonic Carbine, affects his firearms- two weapons that take the form of two Colt Diamondbacks. This allows for faster reaction time and firing, hence "Sonic"- it is something of a unique skill, too, as it heightens the senses of the users as well as the speed. The one downside is that it expends a high amount of ammunition. N is also one who stands out in being the only Letter who uses ammo-fed weapons.

The fifteenth of the Letters, and the fifteenth to be activated. His IS required near-constant changing and modifications to operate normally. He is paired with Cinquedici in combat, and provides a long range heavy support/artillery role.

This is primarily used for battlefield destruction to cause chaos amongst enemy ranks and to take out hostiles if possible, if they happen to be hit by them. Depending on the battlefield location, the effects can ultimately be cataclysmic

O can hold his own against a variety of foes, but his weakness is close range combat- therefore, he relies on his sister to provide close melee support for him as he carries out his duties. Out of all his allies, he has quoted her to be the one he trusts the most.

He is often described by many as the "Knight" of the Numbers and Letters. Chivalrous and vigilant, he will attempt to see to it that harm does not come to his brothers or sisters, through any means possible. This attitude of his has earned him respect from many.

His tone is well-educated, and some consider it to be noble, even. He is one of the few in either group who has a tendency to compliment foes should they put up a worthy struggle.

His IS, Glory Arms, takes the form of a duo of classical long-range weapons- none other than a longbow and a crossbow. He uses the latter more than the former, and has the power to make either appear at will. For his projectiles, he uses bolts of condensed magical energy in solid form. It should be noted that he works well with Sette as well as his usual partner, forming the tried and true long-range/short-range pairing.

Q, R, S and T will come later, and I still have to do M. I feel I might have rushed some of this...but I'll leave you to judge it, fellow readers.

Well, N-T, which encompasses the Number range of 14-20, missing out M/13 (Ginga), they're just designs that Kha can use for "opposition". The "official" Letters are A-L. N-T and onwards will probably be referenced, but not shown. M might, but that's unclear.

Besides, character management is the key. In my Letters scenario, I have 13 new characters (Letters and V), in ShardS I have "Dark" V, Edgar, Nemo, and have planned upgrades for the Numbers...I can't let it get out of control, you see.

At first, there was nothing; TK's first incomplete incarnation was a higher-than-normal-intelligence Armed Device, and inside was the OS of Sakura Zaki. Since that was an empty vessel, it passively collected memories as the device grew up with Kha.

Later Kha modified it, made it all blocky and added the cartridge system.

In AlternateS, after pulling a Mwu, Fate did something to upgrade TK to TKS and pulled Kha back from the edge. The completed divine power spread to the added components and mutated them into the form that we see now in Leryk.

This is where Sakura's next development comes in.

After the upgrade, Sakura Zaki became whole, but for some other reason, as well as Kha's weak Linker Core, she could not materialize her full self. Also, during the reformation, the divine power affected the collected memories of the memory-less vessel of Sakura, and awakened the mad-cap Chibi-Sakura personality of Sakura. Since there were 2 AIs active, both didn't have the mana to stay active at the same time, so in sealed form, Chibi-Sakura was the working AI, while unsealed Sakura Zaki comes online. Both AIs are aware of each other.

A year later, just prior to the Otome mission that would change the fates of several Otome, as well as reveal the truth behind the 5 Pillars and Maria, Kha built a successful Unison Device body for Chibi-Sakura's AI, allowing Sakura to be fully active all the time.

As you can see, half of Sakura came from the Kreuz; the other half that made her whole came from Fate (AlternateS plot element).

As Kha comes closer to a completed Linker Core, I can say that Servant Saber shall be freed from her self-inflicted imprisonment and make an appearance...

The Fawkesian man surged forward towards Cinque, readying one of his knives which glinted cruelly in the dim light, and aimed a horizontal slash at her throat. She leaned back to avoid it, the blade passing mere inches over her face, and was forced to spiral backwards when another attack was poised by V at her midsection. It was only the girl's split-second action that saved her from imminent injury.

Suddenly a high pitched whining filled the area, and something slammed down behind the black-clad combatant.

"Drones?"

Using a magically imbued strike, he sliced the drone in two, obliterating it, then leaped back over to the Number, striking upwards. He was met with a block from the platinum-haired girl's weapons before thrusting forward with his own. The girl ducked under it, and he was interrupted yet again as another drone flew forward. V swiftly wheeled round and used his momentum to cut the charging AMF drone in twain, but it was only afterwards that he realized what his actions had done.

Glancing to his right quickly, he saw Cinque sliding backwards across the floor just in time to witness the salvo of throwing knives she released. He raised a shield, the projectiles exploding against them, and reacted by leaping in a bound through the air, bringing his weapon down upon his opponent.

Cinque strafed to dodge them, launching another set of knives in response, and he countered by striking them out of the air with his blade and hurling his knife at his enemy. She moved her head to one side to ensure it missed, the blade nicking her right cheek. V unsheathed another one, and ran to her attempting to strike again, but Cinque rolled under him as he whirled round, and implanted a blade in his foot.

V grimaced underneath his mask, and kicked upwards, forcing the Number back away from him. In one swift motion, he dislodged the knife in his foot and held it in his left hand. He engaged in CQC, the pair exchanging a multitude of blows. V, in his partial absent-mindedness, did not notice the yellow IS circle around the knife until it was too late, and he was sent flying back by the explosion.

Cinque paused to catch her breath, and V rose, coughing up blood. Gripping his knife, he dashed forward and leaped sideways in the air, spinning, implanting his blade into the floor as he struck and using this momentum to perform the move twice more. Further blades were tossed at him, some cutting into him, others deflected, but V hit home partially as his knife cut down the upper front of Cinque's suit down the middle. The blade didn't reach far enough, and thus a non-lethal wound was caused.

V suddenly soared upwards with Cinque moving back, the masked fighter taking no heed to the explosions that surrounded him, and thundered downwards on top of her. The girl crouched and managed to guard against the fall, V's blade impacting the ground only inches from her. She countered by forcing him off herself and kicking him backwards.

V was about to rise, but there was a hum as cloaked knives revealed themselves. Erecting a barrier just in time, the projectiles collided with it, the explosion shattering it and sending V back more, wounding him further. As he was skidding back, he hurled his kife, and, moving too fast for the cyborg to react to, it cut a deep gash sideways in Cinque's chest. The girl clutched it instinctively, trying to hold back fresh pain.

V rose, and sprung forward, rolling in mid-air with a fresh knife in hand. As he was about to connect, Cinque turned her back to him and launched herself backwards over him, passing by the strike and hurling a quartet of knives at V. He struck them out of the air with his own armament, but the Number was on the offensive, throwing yet more knives at him relentlessly. He twirled and countered in the same fashion by stopping their movement as they flew with his own blade, twirl, counter, spun, counter, repeat, repeat, repeat as he desperately tried to guard. His one plus was that the girl was too close to utilize their explosive power.

Seeing an opening, V swiped back, but this, too, was foiled as Cinque strafed yet again to his side, and, despite her smaller stature, managed to hold the man at knife-point from behind him. Having no other option, V turned his blade on himself, and penetrated his lower chest with it.

Cinque came close to screaming as the blade dug through V and entered her; not fully, but certainly far enough to cause harm. As the pair struggled, both combatants winced further and V forced the blade further in, harming them both. Cinque fumbled for a knife and dug one into his back, hoping that would force him back, He didn't budge, instead turning his head to Cinque and saying, admirably, despite his weakened state:

"Will you be the one to finally finish me?"

Phew! Took a damn long time, that. The fight itself was inspired by the Raiden vs. Vamp video in MGS 4. The ending piece was a tad drastic, yes...but I'll leave you to judge this, fellow readers.

@Kha: Bastion is really making himself known, isn't he? Can't wait to see his full biography, good sir.

That was a well-described fight, with interesting moves and twists done by both sides. Can't wait for the conclusion!

N = Revolver Ocelot indeed! But I was thinking that the Numbers IV, V, VI, VII, seen unactivated in canon, would be Kha's opposition in NBC, since I'm unable to implement the Lettermen...

Stilll, I like the designs for these Lettermen. Even if I'm unable to use them, I hope they'll see some light somewhere else?

Melee = Good. But not Signum-level.
Attack Spells = Very good. More suited for direct/indirect confrontations instead of bombardment.

Experience = Better than our Aces, that much I can say.
Speed = Not bad. At least Fate won't be able to simply run circles around him just like that.
Defense spells = Good.
Support spells = Decent. But he can't do healing and boosts properly and has to rely on cards.
Luck = Lucky!

He'd be hard-pressed to try any more tricks... Nope. He'll be fighting them directly now. He's much more competent now compared to their first fight when the Aces were still 13.

Only difference is that his luck in battle, is often negated by his real-life luck. :/

Very interesting line of thought. I didnt paid much attention to the prophesy or the actual plot, since I was more interested in what Scaglietti was doing with his Relic weapons and Numbers... I have an idea for Prison Break that will shield me from any kind of Ion Canon if S4 strikes, though.

Well, I don’t think Jail will let TSAB win on purpose... since I don’t think anyone can doubt that he’s doing things for his own gain WHATEVER HIS PURPOSE IS... However, I do think that there will bmysteries about Jail that will not be completely revealed in StrikerS, and even if they do, links to Alhazred go far and back.

And yeah, there’s the prophecy thing. To be half honest, if THAT’s all there is to it in the prophecy, it really feels nothing more than a cheap attempt to introduce a plot halfway through StrikerS, because honestly, I don’t feel the magic behind this prophecy when 90% of things done are through Jail/TSAB HC or Jail alone.

Jail doesn’t label those junks. It’s TSAB who calls them ‘Type-whatever.’ And since it’s implied this naming came later without much relation to that one drone that stabbed Nanoha, then it’s hard to really say.

Besides, I recall seeing ANOTHER DIFFERENT TYPE during the RF6 Raid attack. Something that shaped differently a little...

My only true h4xx is the Ultimate Unison possibility, and let me say that surviving Ultimate Unison with sanity retained is harder than anything Hayate ever did in A’s. The feedback is that destructive.

"So go forth!" He pointed ahead of him, then redirected his hand upwards. "Break through the heavens! Stand up to your foes and declare to them, 'WHO DO YOU THINK I AM?!' Because you have the power...the power of the Burning Heaven itself!"

He then performed a duo of swipes with his gauntlet, concluding his monologue by crying: "SPIN ON!"

He looked at her expectantly, waiting for an answer- instead Ginga just turned her back to the waiting Letter and paced off, not understanding what had occured at all. I sank to the floor, defeated.

"There are so many similarities," he said, "and yet...and yet she doesn't notice them..."

This is what a combo of GL phrases, combined with Gin-nee's drill, and I's over-enthusiasm in this case forges.

[In a while, yes...By the way, how are things there?] He asked.
"We have some guests here too, but they're not doing so well I'm afraid..." She showed Vita fighting a mob of stealth Drones.
[Playing with my special toys I see.] He giggled.
"Yes, I want our guests to feel right at home and have lots of attention." She smirked again.
[And the outside?]
"Just some mosquitoes flying around, they're not that fun."
[Then you'll be please to know that I left there a very special toy for you to use.]

Outside the Cradle, Yui and the Clerks were dodging cannon fire when it stopped.
"Eh?" Yui stopped moving and looked at the giant vessel, "Why did it suddenly stop?"

"I just received news from a squad under the Cradle, a hatch is opening!" A nearby Clerk shouted.
"What?" Hayate looked down, "What could they be planning to do..."

Not too long after that, a beam is seen, catching a few Clerks off-guard.
"Guah!" They shouted as the fell, but quickly rescued by other Clerks, who pull them to safety.
"I-It's huge!" A clerk shouted as he saw something coming out of the hatch.
Images are sent to Hayate and Yui, "A...Gadget Drone?" Yui said surprised.
"But it's different from the others..." Hayate added.

A humanoid-like drone came out of the hatch, which closed afterwards, and started attacking whoever was closer to it.

"Go! Take it out!" A Clerk gave the command.
But with a sweep of its arms, it threw away the Clerks that surrounded it.

"Go behind it!" They tried to attack from behind, but it could see them because of all the 'eyes' it has.
"Guah!!!" A Clerk cried out as he was caught by it.
"Ice Javelin!" Yui threw a large spear of ice at the Drone's arm, rescuing the Clerk.
"You okay?" She asked.
"Y-yeah..." He nodded.

The drone quickly severed the connection between its arm and itself, and disposed of it.
"It's not as tough as it looked..." Yui looked at it as she flew away.

But then, the Drone caught a nearby Type 3 drone, connecting itself to it, making a new arm and using it like a wrecking ball.
"Yui! Look out!" Hayate warned her.
"Kyaa!" She shouted as she was hit by it.

Preparing to attack again, the drone is interrupted by four clerks who constantly shoot at it (not making any damage though...)
"You bastard! Get away from her!" They shouted in unison.
"Yui's fan club squad..." Hayate looked at them, one moment bravely shooting at the drone, the other being brushed away by it, "Waaahh" they shouted.

"Not that useful..." Hayate sighed. "Yui-chan, are you okay?" She flew to her.
"Y-yeah...It seems it can assimilate other drones..." Yui now took the drone as a serious threat.
"I think it recoginzes you as a potential threat, it's heading towards us!"

"Hayate-nee, stand back!" She put herself in front of Hayate.
[Load Cartrige!]
"Diamond Protection!" She thrust Undine forward, creating a thick shield and blocking the drone's attack.

During the clash, the drone started flashing its eyes, ordering a command to its arm, which began emanating a violet aura.
"AMF?" Yui said, "Hayate-nee, pull back! I won't be able to hold it much longer."
"Okay!" She nodded and flew away to safety.
The shield began to crack, "Kuh..." Yui winced.
[Flash Move!] Undine shouted the moment the drone broke through.
"Frost Shooter!!" She appared behind it and fired a quick flurry of beams.

Unable to turn in time, the Drone expanded its AMF.
"What? Not one got through?" Yui gasped.
[Different wavelengths detected] The device announced.
"N-No way...an upgrade?" Yui looked at the drone.

I'll never consider myself to be half the writer Tsuzuki is, but I agree that he had messed up StrikerS somewhat. Regardless, his scope and viewpoints along are very good. Besides, it's not just about creativity, it's about chanelling them to make 26 consecutive good episodes without wasting them with time constraint while respecting the rule of build up to climax to resolution in conjecture to making a good episode standalone too.

Besides, I've only got 4 episodes in mind, and some final battles and all that.

And it's half-ripped off A's in a way, where episode 1 and 2 have former RF6ers getting their asses owned at their current post in whatever divisions by some 'unknowns.'

3 had plot revelation in Jail by Jail which is not taken seriously by Fate since all he talks about is Alhazred, Episode 4 is ANOTHER attack, this time by special Alhazred Drones, alongside Prison Break.

But I think limiting to how it works in canon is better though. Special leeways is...h4xx in a different word.

And before anyone cites my own character, Saga can ONLY load 6 at a time maximum. His cartridge system is the 6-loader revolver barrel. And if you see when he uses it, it strains him badly.

"We have some guests here too, but they're not doing so well I'm afraid..." She showed Vita fighting a mob of stealth Drones.
[Playing with my special toys I see.] He giggled.
"Yes, I want our guests to feel right at home and have lots of attention." She smirked again.
[And the outside?]
"Just some mosquitoes flying around, they're not that fun."
[Then you'll be please to know that I left there a very special toy for you to use.]
"Eh?!" She clasped her hands together. "What is it?" She waited with high expectations.

Scaglietti smirked, [It's that new Drone prototype I've been working on in my free time.]
"Ohhh~ You mean..." She adjusted her glasses as she waited for the confirmation.
He nodded, [Feel free to use it on the mosquitoes outside.]
"Thank you~" She replied ecstatically.
[I'm senting the commands now...]
"Thank you~"
[Give it sometime to 'feed' before letting it out...]
"Yes."
[Have fun, Quattro.] he said before and the display closed.
"Uhuu...I sure will." She began inputting the commands with a wide smirk on her face.

Outside the Cradle, Yui and the Clerks were dodging cannon fire when it stopped.
"Eh?" Yui stopped moving and looked at the giant vessel, "Why did it suddenly stop?"

"I just received news from a squad under the Cradle, a hatch is opening!" A nearby Clerk shouted.
"What?" Hayate looked down, "What could they be planning to do..."

Not too long after that, a beam is seen, catching a few Clerks off-guard.
"Guah!" They shouted as the fell, but quickly rescued by other Clerks, who pull them to safety.
"I-It's huge!" A clerk shouted as he saw something coming out of the hatch.
Images are sent to Hayate and Yui, "A...Gadget Drone?" Yui said surprised.
"But it's different from the others..." Hayate added.

A humanoid-like drone came out of the hatch, which closed afterwards, and started attacking whoever was closer to it.

"Go! Take it out!" A Clerk gave the command.
But with a sweep of its arms, it threw away the Clerks that surrounded it.

"Go behind it!" They tried to attack from behind, but it could see them because of all the 'eyes' it has.
"Guah!!!" A Clerk cried out as he was caught by it.
"Ice Javelin!" Yui threw a large spear of ice at the Drone's arm, rescuing the Clerk.
"You okay?" She asked.
"Y-yeah..." He nodded.

The drone quickly severed the connection between its arm and itself, and disposed of it.
"It's not as tough as it looked..." Yui looked at it as she flew away.

But then, the Drone caught a nearby Type 3 drone, connecting itself to it, making a new arm and using it like a wrecking ball.
"Yui! Look out!" Hayate warned her.
"Kyaa!" She shouted as she was hit by it.

Preparing to attack again, the drone is interrupted by four clerks who constantly shoot at it (not making any damage though...)
"You bastard! Get away from her!" They shouted in unison.
"Yui's fan club squad..." Hayate looked at them, one moment bravely shooting at the drone, the other being brushed away by it, "Waaahh" they shouted.

"Not that useful..." Hayate sighed. "Yui-chan, are you okay?" She flew to her.
"Y-yeah...It seems it can assimilate other drones..." Yui now took the drone as a serious threat.
"I think it recoginzes you as a potential threat, it's heading towards us!"

"Hayate-nee, stand back!" She put herself in front of Hayate.
[Load Cartrige!]
"Diamond Protection!" She thrust Undine forward, creating a thick shield and blocking the drone's attack.

During the clash, the drone started flashing its eyes, ordering a command to its arm, which began emanating a violet aura.
"AMF?" Yui said, "Hayate-nee, pull back! I won't be able to hold it much longer."
"Okay!" She nodded and flew away to safety.
The shield began to crack, "Kuh..." Yui winced.
[Flash Move!] Undine shouted the moment the drone broke through.
"Frost Shooter!!" She appared behind it and fired a quick flurry of beams.

Unable to turn in time, the Drone expanded its AMF.
"What? Not one got through?" Yui gasped.
[Different wavelengths detected] The device announced.
"N-No way...an upgrade?" Yui looked at the drone.

The Fawkesian man surged forward towards Cinque, readying one of his knives which glinted cruelly in the dim light, and aimed a horizontal slash at her throat. She leaned back to avoid it, the blade passing mere inches over her face, and was forced to spiral backwards when another attack was poised by V at her midsection. It was only the girl's split-second action that saved her from imminent injury.

Suddenly a high pitched whining filled the area, and something slammed down behind the black-clad combatant.

"Drones?"

Using a magically imbued strike, he sliced the drone in two, obliterating it, then leaped back over to the Number, striking upwards. He was met with a block from the platinum-haired girl's weapons before thrusting forward with his own. The girl ducked under it, and he was interrupted yet again as another drone flew forward. V swiftly wheeled round and used his momentum to cut the charging AMF drone in twain, but it was only afterwards that he realized what his actions had done.

Glancing to his right quickly, he saw Cinque sliding backwards across the floor just in time to witness the salvo of throwing knives she released. He raised a shield, the projectiles exploding against them, and reacted by leaping in a bound through the air, bringing his weapon down upon his opponent.

Cinque strafed to dodge them, launching another set of knives in response, and he countered by striking them out of the air with his blade and hurling his knife at his enemy. She moved her head to one side to ensure it missed, the blade nicking her right cheek. V unsheathed another one, and ran to her attempting to strike again, but Cinque rolled under him as he whirled round, and implanted a blade in his foot.

V grimaced underneath his mask, and kicked upwards, forcing the Number back away from him. In one swift motion, he dislodged the knife in his foot and held it in his left hand. He engaged in CQC, the pair exchanging a multitude of blows. V, in his partial absent-mindedness, did not notice the yellow IS circle around the knife until it was too late, and he was sent flying back by the explosion.

Cinque paused to catch her breath, and V rose, coughing up blood. Gripping his knife, he dashed forward and leaped sideways in the air, spinning, implanting his blade into the floor as he struck and using this momentum to perform the move twice more. Further blades were tossed at him, some cutting into him, others deflected, but V hit home partially as his knife cut down the upper front of Cinque's suit down the middle. The blade didn't reach far enough, and thus a non-lethal wound was caused.

V suddenly soared upwards with Cinque moving back, the masked fighter taking no heed to the explosions that surrounded him, and thundered downwards on top of her. The girl crouched and managed to guard against the fall, V's blade impacting the ground only inches from her. She countered by forcing him off herself and kicking him backwards.

V was about to rise, but there was a hum as cloaked knives revealed themselves. Erecting a barrier just in time, the projectiles collided with it, the explosion shattering it and sending V back more, wounding him further. As he was skidding back, he hurled his kife, and, moving too fast for the cyborg to react to, it cut a deep gash sideways in Cinque's chest. The girl clutched it instinctively, trying to hold back fresh pain.

V rose, and sprung forward, rolling in mid-air with a fresh knife in hand. As he was about to connect, Cinque turned her back to him and launched herself backwards over him, passing by the strike and hurling a quartet of knives at V. He struck them out of the air with his own armament, but the Number was on the offensive, throwing yet more knives at him relentlessly. He twirled and countered in the same fashion by stopping their movement as they flew with his own blade, twirl, counter, spun, counter, repeat, repeat, repeat as he desperately tried to guard. His one plus was that the girl was too close to utilize their explosive power.

Seeing an opening, V swiped back, but this, too, was foiled as Cinque strafed yet again to his side, and, despite her smaller stature, managed to hold the man at knife-point from behind him. Having no other option, V turned his blade on himself, and penetrated his lower chest with it.

Cinque came close to screaming as the blade dug through V and entered her; not fully, but certainly far enough to cause harm. As the pair struggled, both combatants winced further and V forced the blade further in, harming them both. Cinque fumbled for a knife and dug one into his back, hoping that would force him back, He didn't budge, instead turning his head to Cinque and saying, admirably, despite his weakened state:

"Will you be the one to finally finish me?"

Phew! Took a damn long time, that. The fight itself was inspired by the Raiden vs. Vamp video in MGS 4. The ending piece was a tad drastic, yes...but I'll leave you to judge this, fellow readers.

@SparkZ: An interesting chapter there...and who knows to what extent Quattro will use her new toy, hm...

@Kha: Bastion is really making himself known, isn't he? Can't wait to see his full biography, good sir.

Whoa… quite the epic duel here between V and Cinque Although it seems to me like there’s a trend of V getting distracted lately Stabbing himself just to get to Cinque is sorta desperate there

N is the fourteenth of the Letters, and the one who is most proficient in the usage of dual firearms. He is paired with Quattordici in battle, and the pair are known to be two of the members of both groups that work the best together.

In terms of his attitude, he is a Letter who frequently sticks to the plot of the tasks he undertakes. He and his sister accomplish their duties well because of this trait, something that they have seemed to have inherited from senior members. N has even stated that he has followed the senior Numbers and Letters, holding them as examples of the team. That doesn't, however, limit his vacuous sense of humor, something that often irritates the more short-fused ones.

His IS, Sonic Carbine, affects his firearms- two weapons that take the form of two Colt Diamondbacks. This allows for faster reaction time and firing, hence "Sonic"- it is something of a unique skill, too, as it heightens the senses of the users as well as the speed. The one downside is that it expends a high amount of ammunition. N is also one who stands out in being the only Letter who uses ammo-fed weapons.

The fifteenth of the Letters, and the fifteenth to be activated. His IS required near-constant changing and modifications to operate normally. He is paired with Cinquedici in combat, and provides a long range heavy support/artillery role.

He bears an attitude similar to that of Quattro, much to the disdain and chagrin of some of his colleagues. He is often rather brash and condescending, even towards those who are his seniors. In this, he bears a trait similar to L, but the pair are made different by L downplaying his allies and the Numbers out of dislike, and O doing such out of pride or arrogance.

As such, his status in the group isn't exactly the highest. The one good factor, however, is that O is indeed willing to perform any tasks set- performing errands seems to be the one thing that he relishes the most

His IS Skill, Scatter Quake, is an oddity- using a pack on his back, O can, over a varying range of distances, send out shock-waves of different strengths through the air. This is primarily used for battlefield destruction to cause chaos amongst enemy ranks and to take out hostiles if possible, if they happen to be hit by them. Depending on the battlefield location, the effects can ultimately be cataclysmic

O can hold his own against a variety of foes, but his weakness is close range combat- therefore, he relies on his sister to provide close melee support for him as he carries out his duties. Out of all his allies, he has quoted her to be the one he trusts the most.

He is often described by many as the "Knight" of the Numbers and Letters. Chivalrous and vigilant, he will attempt to see to it that harm does not come to his brothers or sisters, through any means possible. This attitude of his has earned him respect from many.

His tone is well-educated, and some consider it to be noble, even. He is one of the few in either group who has a tendency to compliment foes should they put up a worthy struggle.

His IS, Glory Arms, takes the form of a duo of classical long-range weapons- none other than a longbow and a crossbow. He uses the latter more than the former, and has the power to make either appear at will. For his projectiles, he uses bolts of condensed magical energy in solid form. It should be noted that he works well with Sette as well as his usual partner, forming the tried and true long-range/short-range pairing.

Q, R, S and T will come later, and I still have to do M. I feel I might have rushed some of this...but I'll leave you to judge it, fellow readers.

N would really make for a better Revolver Ovelot than Nove Though the logic in having a Longbow and Crossbow combo for P is quite unusual

For me, I use Page/Squire, Knight and Meister. Upon completion of basic training, one would count as a Knight, but only true masters become Meisters. Think of how a Master's degree is higher than a Bachelor's.

As for canon, I'm wondering if such things would ever be mentioned.

Arcas is a Dunamist, which if you remember reading the profile, means he has an instinctual grasp of magic - which translates to me as "less effort" for casting spells - though even his stamina will have limits... as you'll see. Plus, the battles I typically describe are @ least 24 hours apart from each other - which in my mind should be enough time to recover from the strain - as long as he takes it easy.

Well, since Dunamists are supposed to recover faster. Speaking of which, I'll see if I can finally work on Andrea and Albert....

<Nods> The major problem with that is that then, we are forced to rely on non-cartridge powered spells, which isn't a problem for Boomer and Sevasti, but Mel and Arcas don't have much in the way of that.

But, for all the critics of my cartridge spamming out there (Arcas in particular), I'll say this:

It's either I cartridge spam - or reduce the number of cartridges needed to cast MOST of the spells on Arcas' Mel's lists. And I'd rather go over than under, and be accused of too much haxx (like Crusade, which initially cost 4 cartridges, rather than 8).

However... I can say that for the most part, the major bang spells (like Blazing Arrow Ray Storm, or some of Mel's bigger spells) will only be appearing every so often from now on - I'll try mainly to stick to one or two cartridge powered spells.

That's all.

So Arcas is HAXX no matter what... Very well. That clears up a lot of things...

Koji and Maren panted as they finished up a group of Drones that blocked their path.
"haa...AMF conditions are harder than I thought..." Koji commented.

"I'm fine...if it's just this, then it won't hinder me much. Let's go." She started walking.

At the Cradle, Quattro enjoyed the views shown on the displays around her.
"Whoever said watching was no fun never saw all these amusing things happening at the same time." She smirked, pleased with the current flow of events.
[Quattro] a new window appeared.
"Ara, Doctor, is something wrong?" She blinked.
[Not really, just some 'uninvited guests'] He smirked and he opened a small display showing Fate fighting Tre and Sette.
"I see...Everyone is going to have a lot of fun today, will you join them, Doctor?" She smiled playfully.

[In a while, yes...By the way, how are things there?] He asked.
"We have some guests here too, but they're not doing so well I'm afraid..." She showed Vita fighting a mob of stealth Drones.
[Playing with my special toys I see.] He giggled.
"Yes, I want our guests to feel right at home and have lots of attention." She smirked again.
[And the outside?]
"Just some mosquitoes flying around, they're not that fun."
[Then you'll be please to know that I left there a very special toy for you to use.]
"Eh?!" She clasped her hands together. "What is it?" She waited with high expectations.

Scaglietti smirked, [It's that new Drone prototype I've been working on in my free time.]
"Ohhh~ You mean..." She adjusted her glasses as she waited for the confirmation.
He nodded, [Feel free to use it on the mosquitoes outside.]
"Thank you~" She replied ecstatically.
[I'm senting the commands now...]
"Thank you~"
[Give it sometime to 'feed' before letting it out...]
"Yes."
[Have fun, Quattro.] he said before and the display closed.
"Uhuu...I sure will." She began inputting the commands with a wide smirk on her face.

Outside the Cradle, Yui and the Clerks were dodging cannon fire when it stopped.
"Eh?" Yui stopped moving and looked at the giant vessel, "Why did it suddenly stop?"

"I just received news from a squad under the Cradle, a hatch is opening!" A nearby Clerk shouted.
"What?" Hayate looked down, "What could they be planning to do..."

Not too long after that, a beam is seen, catching a few Clerks off-guard.
"Guah!" They shouted as the fell, but quickly rescued by other Clerks, who pull them to safety.
"I-It's huge!" A clerk shouted as he saw something coming out of the hatch.
Images are sent to Hayate and Yui, "A...Gadget Drone?" Yui said surprised.
"But it's different from the others..." Hayate added.

A humanoid-like drone came out of the hatch, which closed afterwards, and started attacking whoever was closer to it.

"Go! Take it out!" A Clerk gave the command.
But with a sweep of its arms, it threw away the Clerks that surrounded it.

"Go behind it!" They tried to attack from behind, but it could see them because of all the 'eyes' it has.
"Guah!!!" A Clerk cried out as he was caught by it.
"Ice Javelin!" Yui threw a large spear of ice at the Drone's arm, rescuing the Clerk.
"You okay?" She asked.
"Y-yeah..." He nodded.

The drone quickly severed the connection between its arm and itself, and disposed of it.
"It's not as tough as it looked..." Yui looked at it as she flew away.

But then, the Drone caught a nearby Type 3 drone, connecting itself to it, making a new arm and using it like a wrecking ball.
"Yui! Look out!" Hayate warned her.
"Kyaa!" She shouted as she was hit by it.

Preparing to attack again, the drone is interrupted by four clerks who constantly shoot at it (not making any damage though...)
"You bastard! Get away from her!" They shouted in unison.
"Yui's fan club squad..." Hayate looked at them, one moment bravely shooting at the drone, the other being brushed away by it, "Waaahh" they shouted.

"Not that useful..." Hayate sighed. "Yui-chan, are you okay?" She flew to her.
"Y-yeah...It seems it can assimilate other drones..." Yui now took the drone as a serious threat.
"I think it recoginzes you as a potential threat, it's heading towards us!"

"Hayate-nee, stand back!" She put herself in front of Hayate.
[Load Cartrige!]
"Diamond Protection!" She thrust Undine forward, creating a thick shield and blocking the drone's attack.

During the clash, the drone started flashing its eyes, ordering a command to its arm, which began emanating a violet aura.
"AMF?" Yui said, "Hayate-nee, pull back! I won't be able to hold it much longer."
"Okay!" She nodded and flew away to safety.
The shield began to crack, "Kuh..." Yui winced.
[Flash Move!] Undine shouted the moment the drone broke through.
"Frost Shooter!!" She appared behind it and fired a quick flurry of beams.

Unable to turn in time, the Drone expanded its AMF.
"What? Not one got through?" Yui gasped.
[Different wavelengths detected] The device announced.
"N-No way...an upgrade?" Yui looked at the drone.

The Fawkesian man surged forward towards Cinque, readying one of his knives which glinted cruelly in the dim light, and aimed a horizontal slash at her throat. She leaned back to avoid it, the blade passing mere inches over her face, and was forced to spiral backwards when another attack was poised by V at her midsection. It was only the girl's split-second action that saved her from imminent injury.

Suddenly a high pitched whining filled the area, and something slammed down behind the black-clad combatant.

"Drones?"

Using a magically imbued strike, he sliced the drone in two, obliterating it, then leaped back over to the Number, striking upwards. He was met with a block from the platinum-haired girl's weapons before thrusting forward with his own. The girl ducked under it, and he was interrupted yet again as another drone flew forward. V swiftly wheeled round and used his momentum to cut the charging AMF drone in twain, but it was only afterwards that he realized what his actions had done.

Glancing to his right quickly, he saw Cinque sliding backwards across the floor just in time to witness the salvo of throwing knives she released. He raised a shield, the projectiles exploding against them, and reacted by leaping in a bound through the air, bringing his weapon down upon his opponent.

Cinque strafed to dodge them, launching another set of knives in response, and he countered by striking them out of the air with his blade and hurling his knife at his enemy. She moved her head to one side to ensure it missed, the blade nicking her right cheek. V unsheathed another one, and ran to her attempting to strike again, but Cinque rolled under him as he whirled round, and implanted a blade in his foot.

V grimaced underneath his mask, and kicked upwards, forcing the Number back away from him. In one swift motion, he dislodged the knife in his foot and held it in his left hand. He engaged in CQC, the pair exchanging a multitude of blows. V, in his partial absent-mindedness, did not notice the yellow IS circle around the knife until it was too late, and he was sent flying back by the explosion.

Cinque paused to catch her breath, and V rose, coughing up blood. Gripping his knife, he dashed forward and leaped sideways in the air, spinning, implanting his blade into the floor as he struck and using this momentum to perform the move twice more. Further blades were tossed at him, some cutting into him, others deflected, but V hit home partially as his knife cut down the upper front of Cinque's suit down the middle. The blade didn't reach far enough, and thus a non-lethal wound was caused.

V suddenly soared upwards with Cinque moving back, the masked fighter taking no heed to the explosions that surrounded him, and thundered downwards on top of her. The girl crouched and managed to guard against the fall, V's blade impacting the ground only inches from her. She countered by forcing him off herself and kicking him backwards.

V was about to rise, but there was a hum as cloaked knives revealed themselves. Erecting a barrier just in time, the projectiles collided with it, the explosion shattering it and sending V back more, wounding him further. As he was skidding back, he hurled his kife, and, moving too fast for the cyborg to react to, it cut a deep gash sideways in Cinque's chest. The girl clutched it instinctively, trying to hold back fresh pain.

V rose, and sprung forward, rolling in mid-air with a fresh knife in hand. As he was about to connect, Cinque turned her back to him and launched herself backwards over him, passing by the strike and hurling a quartet of knives at V. He struck them out of the air with his own armament, but the Number was on the offensive, throwing yet more knives at him relentlessly. He twirled and countered in the same fashion by stopping their movement as they flew with his own blade, twirl, counter, spun, counter, repeat, repeat, repeat as he desperately tried to guard. His one plus was that the girl was too close to utilize their explosive power.

Seeing an opening, V swiped back, but this, too, was foiled as Cinque strafed yet again to his side, and, despite her smaller stature, managed to hold the man at knife-point from behind him. Having no other option, V turned his blade on himself, and penetrated his lower chest with it.

Cinque came close to screaming as the blade dug through V and entered her; not fully, but certainly far enough to cause harm. As the pair struggled, both combatants winced further and V forced the blade further in, harming them both. Cinque fumbled for a knife and dug one into his back, hoping that would force him back, He didn't budge, instead turning his head to Cinque and saying, admirably, despite his weakened state:

"Will you be the one to finally finish me?"

Phew! Took a damn long time, that. The fight itself was inspired by the Raiden vs. Vamp video in MGS 4. The ending piece was a tad drastic, yes...but I'll leave you to judge this, fellow readers.

Well done! This is one well-articulated and intense battle!

He and his sister accomplish their duties well because of this trait, something that they have seemed to have inherited from senior members. N has even stated that he has followed the senior Numbers and Letters, holding them as examples of the team. That doesn't, however, limit his vacuous sense of humor, something that often irritates the more short-fused ones.

His IS, Sonic Carbine, affects his firearms- two weapons that take the form of two Colt Diamondbacks. This allows for faster reaction time and firing, hence "Sonic"- it is something of a unique skill, too, as it heightens the senses of the users as well as the speed. The one downside is that it expends a high amount of ammunition. N is also one who stands out in being the only Letter who uses ammo-fed weapons.

The fifteenth of the Letters, and the fifteenth to be activated. His IS required near-constant changing and modifications to operate normally. He is paired with Cinquedici in combat, and provides a long range heavy support/artillery role.

He bears an attitude similar to that of Quattro, much to the disdain and chagrin of some of his colleagues. He is often rather brash and condescending, even towards those who are his seniors. In this, he bears a trait similar to L, but the pair are made different by L downplaying his allies and the Numbers out of dislike, and O doing such out of pride or arrogance.

As such, his status in the group isn't exactly the highest. The one good factor, however, is that O is indeed willing to perform any tasks set- performing errands seems to be the one thing that he relishes the most

His IS Skill, Scatter Quake, is an oddity- using a pack on his back, O can, over a varying range of distances, send out shock-waves of different strengths through the air. This is primarily used for battlefield destruction to cause chaos amongst enemy ranks and to take out hostiles if possible, if they happen to be hit by them. Depending on the battlefield location, the effects can ultimately be cataclysmic

O can hold his own against a variety of foes, but his weakness is close range combat- therefore, he relies on his sister to provide close melee support for him as he carries out his duties. Out of all his allies, he has quoted her to be the one he trusts the most.

He is often described by many as the "Knight" of the Numbers and Letters. Chivalrous and vigilant, he will attempt to see to it that harm does not come to his brothers or sisters, through any means possible. This attitude of his has earned him respect from many.

His tone is well-educated, and some consider it to be noble, even. He is one of the few in either group who has a tendency to compliment foes should they put up a worthy struggle.

His IS, Glory Arms, takes the form of a duo of classical long-range weapons- none other than a longbow and a crossbow. He uses the latter more than the former, and has the power to make either appear at will. For his projectiles, he uses bolts of condensed magical energy in solid form. It should be noted that he works well with Sette as well as his usual partner, forming the tried and true long-range/short-range pairing.

Q, R, S and T will come later, and I still have to do M. I feel I might have rushed some of this...but I'll leave you to judge it, fellow readers.

Nope, it’s not them. One child has NO POWER, while the other 2 is only A and AAA. Let me tell you first, that I HAET H4XX. Only Saga alone is truly powerful and he’s MERELY SS. My only true h4xx is the Ultimate Unison possibility, and let me say that surviving Ultimate Unison with sanity retained is harder than anything Hayate ever did in A’s. The feedback is that destructive.

"With that very drill!"

He then switched poses, changing stance so that he was kneeling, his head in his hands, and his tone a sorrowful one.

"And when it seems that all is lost, and that your chances of survival are 0%...that's as good as 100% FOR ME!"

"So go forth!" He pointed ahead of him, then redirected his hand upwards. "Break through the heavens! Stand up to your foes and declare to them, 'WHO DO YOU THINK I AM?!' Because you have the power...the power of the Burning Heaven itself!"

He then performed a duo of swipes with his gauntlet, concluding his monologue by crying: "SPIN ON!"

He looked at her expectantly, waiting for an answer- instead Ginga just turned her back to the waiting Letter and paced off, not understanding what had occured at all. I sank to the floor, defeated.

"There are so many similarities," he said, "and yet...and yet she doesn't notice them..."

This is what a combo of GL phrases, combined with Gin-nee's drill, and I's over-enthusiasm in this case forges.
