No I meant how to fight effectively since he has more experience.

Spoiler for just in case:

It's a redux of the heart attacks going around when she first appeared in that form in the manga

It might be an even better stopping point actualy.

That way there'll be a big chance of a second season
I agree it's a better stopping point bu condensing 120 chapters into 26 episodes is just... not to mention that a second season would be even further away because it went through so much of the material.....

Can anyone confirm if Hamaguchi Akira is the one responsible for this sequence? I really, really would like to give proper credit for this part. Very beautiful.

Okamura Tensai's in charged of storyboard for the new OP!!!! There's also Hamaguchi Akira, Nonaka Masayuki, and Tanaka Hironori for 13. Pretty "stacked" episode in terms of talents (which in turn means very happy watchers).
No one beats Kana Hana or Kougyoku >_<

Actually the one who deserves the credit is whoever did the transition from Kougyoku's daydream to Ahbmad's actual face.... That was funny as hell

also...Dunya has turquoise hair? O__O

Dunya's hair can be any color they want. As long as they keep the battle as bloody as it can be ( like in the manga ). I actually enjoy this episode's fight scene thanks to that. I think I have re-watched the scene when Mor kick through that giant monkey 12 times already.

A lot of people getting torn in half this episode

I really liked the opening. Sinbad looked especially awesome in the few seconds he got. Morgianna stole the opening though with her...well, with her everything

The new OP and ED were nice. Lots of new colorful characters in the OP. I assume that means this arc will end soon, since they have only 13 more episodes to work with. Dancer Morgiana is really lovely~

The episode was also great, with plenty of well animated and choreographed action. Both Alibaba and Morgiana were very impressed. I'll never get tired of Mor's fighting style. She can kick so much asses with that small body of hers.

You know, manga readers complain a lot about the anime going too fast. Makes me wonder how excruciatingly slow the manga is.

Alibaba really stepped up this time.
Kou princess was not thrilled with her arranged marriage.
Ahbmad loved the idea, though.
Seems like Alibaba bit more than he could chew.
Well, until he finally managed to get Amon's sword.
After that it was just wow. Morgiana was impressive as well.
It was nice to see Alibaba still had some friends in the palace.

Although fairly predictable and straightforward, it was quite action packed and never missed a beat. It's fairly obvious to me that Alibaba won't become the next king but I was always in doubt about who would be the next king then. In my pov, there were three likely candidates: Kassim (after some perspective changing and redemption), Abhmad (after some backbone growing), or Sinbad (after everyone coming to some hard conclusions about Balbadd's sovereignty, though it's also possible that Kougyoku or some other more benevolent Kou empire representative steps up here). After seeing Abhmad's performance I'm more inclined towards him now, though the others still remain a possibility (My personal preference is the last since it's the least "easy way out/have it all" than the others).

Manga reader here. Anime's speed is just fine, imo. Some particular episodes were rushed, but all in all - it's ok.
Manga is still much better though. It gives more details and deeper explanations.(might be one of the reasons anime feels faster)

So how much longer does it look like Balbadd arc will last?

Seems longer than that... about 3-4 imo... Assuming they don't drag any scenes.

2-3 episodes, I'd say. They usually don't drag scenes.

Oh yadda yadda yadda. Of course the manga is better. The source material is ALWAYS better. Been there, done that.

I don't get the complaints about the pacing however. Why can't people be happy that it didn't turn into Naruto?

Manga speed is ok...considering it's weekly. It's like taking your time to savour it

I find the anime's is ok too, since it's like recap of all the past events except animated. You watch it mainly for the artistic aspects since you already know the story.

People who don't read the manga should find the anime speed ok too I think

That's my favourite part too. Morgiana also had the best cut in the first OP
I don't think it's Akira Hamaguchi since it doesn't fit much his style. Some japanese animation fans claim it's Akira Takata but there's nothing confirmed. Sometimes Akira Hamaguchi give info about animators' cuts but if you really want to know, it may be easier to ask Toshifumi Akai (twitter or a mail) who directed the animation of this OP. I remember he answered someone on his blog about Idolm@ster 6's animators though I don't think it's polite to ask directly this kind of question.
