I'm curious as to what will happen if languages other than English is inserted. Will it be disregarded immediately? Will there be an exception for Japanese? What if it was accidently mispelled?

It would save the characters as characters of unicode, and we would (unfortunately) have to go through the task of unscrambling the unicode as well as looking for translators to convert the mess...

No, it doesn't matter, although it's sort of more work for us trying to sort out the mess...

Hm, we may have to discuss this. Maybe we should put a note that voting should be done in several preferred languages? English and Japanese is fine in any order; we can pretty much google any kanji and find the right name. I don't think we have an Arab translator handy.

국제사이모에리그에서 2009년 1월 1일부터 추천지명을 개시합니다.
추천지명은 한국시간 기준으로 1월 1일 오후 2시~1월 8일 오후 2시까지 진행되며 가장 높은 점수를 얻은 32명의 캐릭터가 예선전에 돌입하게 됩니다. 지명 중간집계는 물론, 예선이 끝날때까지는 Top32리스트를 제외한 모든 정보가 공개되지 않습니다.

지명방법
1. http://www.internationalsaimoe.com/voting/ 에 접속합니다.(현재는 막혀있습니다)
2. 접속하시면 아래와 같은 창이 보일 것입니다. 맨 왼쪽은 그 캐릭터에게 줄 점수로, Top32결정은 이 점수의 합으로 하게 됩니다.
그 다음은 각각 캐릭터명과 시리즈명으로, 여기에 추천 캐릭터 이름과 시리즈명을 차례대로 쓰시면 됩니다.
지명창에는 영어를 사용할 것을 강력하게 추천하지만, 부득이한 경우 한글을 사용하셔도 됩니다.
또한, 목록을 다 채우지 않은 경우 남은 칸들은 무효로 처리되며, 남은 칸의 점수가 다른 캐릭터에게 분배되지 않습니다.

3. 완료 버튼을 누릅니다. 일단 제출한 이후에 지명 목록 수정을 하기 위해서는 자신의 IP주소를 담아서 국제사이모에 스탭에게 이메일을 보내야 하므로, 신중히 판단한 후 눌러주시기 바랍니다.

1. 다음 37명의 캐릭터는 이미 본 시즌 진출이 확정되었으므로, 쓰지 말아주세요.

2) 방영시기와 애니메이션의 길이는 상관없지만, 참가자는 반드시 어떠한 '일본 애니메이션'을 대표해야 합니다.
종류는 TV시리즈, OVA, OAV, 극장판이 모두 인정되며 국제사이모에 스탭이 해당 애니메이션의 존재를 확인할 수 있으면 됩니다.
*이 조건에 의해 쿈코등의 동인캐릭터나 일본 이외 지역의 애니메이션에 나오는 캐릭터는 참가할 수 없습니다.
3) 이름이나 확실한 구별방법이 없는 캐릭터, 또는 출연비중이 극히 적은 캐릭터는 참가할 수 없습니다.
*이 조건에 의해 '버스에서 XX옆에 탄 여자아이' 혹은 절망선생에 등장한 하츠네 미쿠 등의 엑스트라 캐릭터는 참가할 수 없습니다.
4) 18금 애니는 참가대상에서 제외됩니다. 단, 18금에 나왔더라도 다른 애니에 나왔다면 18금이 아닌 애니 이름으로 참가 가능합니다.

I've experienced IE's bugs and glitches numerous times, and I admit that it is overrated and unsafe. But I'm too used to middle-clicking the menu's links and accessing 42 different locations just as swiftly. I also have a small discomfort at Firefox's fonts (I've spent three hours trying to fix it)....

I do have Firefox and lolifox however; the former loaded with legions of security add-ons and utilized as a search machine in the "wilds", and the latter for miscellaneous things such as loading pages I suspect IE has screwed up.
