The panic continues in Edoras, and Mystogan continues to tell Pantherlily to kill him in order to calm the chaos. Pantherlily called the prince a fool, and refused to carry out his order. The both side argued, fiercely defend their position, until Pantherlily said that he will be the "evil" and be executed by the prince. The both of them calmed down, realizing that no matter who carried the burden of death will only bring unhappiness to the other. As they ponder what to do to calm the chaos, a soldier ran into the room, telling that there are three rebels destroying the streets of the Capital. Pantherlily and Mystogan ran outside, and saw one of the rebel calls himself Great Demon-Lord Dragneel, who tied Faust onto a wooden stake, declaring that he's taking away all of Edoras' magic. The Great Demon-Lord commanded his underlings, RedFox and Marvell to wreck havoc on the street. Mystogan told them to stop, but only caused the Great Demon-Lord to taunt him and revealing his true lineage. The Great Demon-Lord continued to taunt them to either fight him or he will destroy the Capital of Edoras.

Thanks for the synposis of the chapter, it help out with what was going on with the raw I just finished seeing.

Pretty much what is said on top. Adding to the part that Natsu looks like his original concept that the mangaka had of him (for those who have the first volume, Mashima had Natsu with horns in his character design page). I laughed really hard on how Nastu and Gazeel were acting their villain parts very well but Wendy just came off looking cute. Her color page where she is smiling with Natsu and Lucy looked more scary. Anyway, can not wait to see how this is resolved.

One of Pantherlily's quote in the chapter cannot be read clearly.

"I'll undertake the duty of of being executed as the -il behind all this."

Some of the words are covered by Mystogan's seech bubble, but the "-il" is the only one that I cannot make out. Does anyone what that word is supposed to be?

How many years ago did edo-gerald wind up disappearing? 7 years
much like 7 years since the dragons disappeared... as in, gerald might find his way to getting wrapped up in the main dragon plotline =p

though maybe on the plus side this means that this wasn't really a filler arc after all...

Pretty funny chapter given how it's supposed to be pretty serious moment, one thing Mashima and Oda can pull off flawlessly.

As for Earthland Gerard, I've kind of gotten the feeling he's going to play a big role down the line, too. His counterpart, Mystogan is a prince, fathered by Faust.

Did Gerard and Erza come from the Earthland counterpart to the kingdom that took over Edoras? If there an Earthland Faust?

How did Mystogan master Earthland magic in less than 7 years? Who trained him? How was his potential so high when he comes from a place where magic can not be used in such a way?

In the next issue... it's time for a Cell type interrupt. Something doesn't seem right. Mystogan living without magic? Rebuilding a world without it?

Time for a bigger, badder, meaner evil power to show up out of nowhere.

Haha, Natsu made me laugh. This is like shooting two birds with one stone. He finally gets a proper battle against Mistgun, and he can take the fall as the guy who stole Edoras' magic.

Wonder whether he and Mystogun are really gonna have a REAL fight though. hey, but Mystogun knows a way of returning them to Earthland. Maybe he'll "kick" Natsu's ass and send him and everyone back to Earthland while "getting rid of the evil demon lord".

ahhhh, I can so see that coming. What a predictable arc! this arc is the most boring arc ever in FT.

For a half-baked idea, it was incredble. Natsu does not deserve the 'idiot hero' tag for this one if he came up with it. XD Also Gazille needs to school Wendy on how to properly make an 'angry face'. lol
