Being able to time when the translated text will show/disappear on the episode.
Experience Required: Must know how to scene time, and not have any scene bleeding. We can teach you if your not experienced.

Quality Checkers
Check for issues such as graphical artifacts, timing errors, typos, grammar, legibility, sound and video quality.
Experience Required: no experience required.We can teach you if your not experienced.

Raw Providers
Supplying the raw episode to our staff from Japan in a timely manner.
Experience Required: Must know how to find and download episodes in high quality, and then upload it to our ftp so our translators can start translating.

Karaoke SFX
Designing the text effects for the Opening/Closing songs of our projects.
Experience Required: Experience is a must

Distro
Being able to either seed(Bittorrent), serve a XDCC bot or host Direct Downloads.
Experience Required: No experience required.

Encoders
Getting the final raw/translation/timing and putting it all together to release the final product which will be ether in MKV or AVI.
Experience Required: Experience is a must

Typesetter AFX
the make signs in english for signs that were in Japanese and really good typesetters make it look like it was originally there and not even added in
Experience Required: Experience is a must

Hi, I had just recently starting to venture into the world of Aegisub and I had created some clips that features the karaoke lyrics in YT.

A fun bunch of staff, we sub for enjoyment. We don't accept donations, our staff are friendly and often help one another out with side-projects. TLs require no previous fansubbing experience, they just need to know Japanese! You will be given an audio clip to test your skills on first. Editor should have previous fansubbing experience, and provide examples of previous shows worked on. We aim to get a show out within 48 hours of airing.

We finally have a capper and have been subbing for nearly a year now. I like to have at least one ecchi show in the line-up each season. I'm not fond of loli-smut, but we do have some in the group who are (hence we did RKB this season).

I won't TLDR, but if you're interested come see me. I'd love to hear from you.

CTSS is a fairly new group who does what ever we want, and still releases on time. Staffers generate great friendship links with one another and our channel is usually active with discussion on anything.

Translators are not subjected to a test, however, we may want you to converse with an existing translator in Japanese if we feel like it.

Timer(s) must be experienced. I will provide a short clip for you to time.

Any other positions can be found on our site.

Hi, I go by Captain Marvelous, I'm an Encoder that can do hardsubs for avi and MP4s. I can make both SD and HDs formats for Mp4 and regular SD formats for avis. If you need someone who's willing to do hardsubs for people that can not use MKV container due to their PCs are not able to use MKVs then I'm the person for the job.
